February has been a cray month for me. Aside from the usual deadlines, tomorrow I'm hitting the high seas, helping organize games on the JoCo Cruise. The thing about boats is that they have terrible internet. So I'd like to post a quick article before I go... and it occurs to me that I haven't had an open Q&A for a while. So: ask me anything! I won't be able to answer all questions, but I'll see what I can do.

I always really enjoy when you take the concept from something in popular media, like a movie or TV show, and talk about converting it to Eberron. Has anything you've seen recently inspired you to say "I'd love to see that done in Eberron!"?

Can you give any more information about The Scar that Abides? We know that he represents pure, festering hatred and vengeance, but how did that manifest in his powers and abilities (in a broad, non-game-mechanics sense)

What would it take for Drooam to become a legally recognized entity in Khorvaire? Do you have any ideas, in brief, for what immediate events are likely if the timeline were to advance for a few years? Would Tritons (the 5e race) fit anywhere in Eberron? Would you use them instead of your previous ideas for merfolk, or as something else?

I feel like there's not as much about Halflings as there's been about elves and gnomes, dwarves, orcs and goblins. What is your thoughts on the origins of halflings on Khorvaire (from somewhere else like elves, gnomes and dwarves? Possibly genetic/magic experiments like orcs, goblins and assorted scalyfolk?) and any core things to remember about them (2 or 3 things) that feel are forgot?

How does the rarity of dragonmarks and dragonshards, specifically, influence the Eberron economy? I can't come up with a relatable analogy or real-world example. 1) Shards are rare (How rare? How difficult to access?) 2) Marks are rare (How rare, numerically?) and 3) Mark and Shard are both required to perform the abilities that run the economy, so how common are these "jobs," of all jobs in the economy?

Years ago, the question came up what the link between the Aereni and baboons was. I’m not sure it was ever answered, though. I’m still intrigued by it, and was hoping you could expand on it.
