Hello Inner Circle Patrons!

Due to the Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron we've pushed late into the month without a Patron's Poll. With that said, I'm interested in doing something related to the WGtE... either dealing with questions about the Wayfinder's Guide or expanding on something within it.

SO: I'll be posting an article topic poll tomorrow. Do you have any topic suggestions, tied to the WGtE or otherwise?

Thanks for your support!

Thank you Keith! I just picked up a copy of WGtE and I'm really pleased with it so far. I'm so glad you're getting to publish new 5e content for my favorite setting. Thank you for all you do.

How much can you tell us about a 5e artificer? Are there plans to introduce a version of the class that does a better job of capturing the flavor of the original?

Zed Bundershot

As long as we're going down the artificer path, perhaps you could explore how individual Dragonmarked houses educate/arbitrate/exploit that set of skills? I believe it's cannon that artificers were a Cannith strength, but what roles would they play for example, in supplying Tharashk's prospectors, bounty hunters and inquisitives with all the clever little items that let them use their marks to the fullest?

Was there anything you had to cut for space? How would you briefly describe the Boromars and Daask, for player characters caught in the middle? (I adored the mini-settings/campaogn frames in Sharn; please do more!) A weird one from the FB group: are Kalashtar tied to the Quori of the same gender or not? Different sources say different things.

Scott Abraham

Are you planning on going a different direction with some of the lore than what has been done in the past? I think you mentioned the 5 nations book was not like you would have liked.

Thursday Garreau

Minor setting Q: are Sentinel Marshals exclusively Deneith dragonmarked heirs?

Zed Bundershot

I've received two update notices about the WGE since I bought it, so now I've got three different copies sized at 21K, 42K, and 38K. Was it just, 'delayed editing' or are there significant differences?

(a) What is in WGtE for non-5e DMs who already have everything else ever written about Eberron?

JoeSchlabotnyk32

(b) Is continuing support for Eberron contingent on the support for this product (ie. even if it doesn't benefit me directly, is it an investment in future products)?

Thursday Garreau

An incredibly self-serving question: would you allow a four-armed sahuagin as a player option? :)

Phillip Baker

A topic I would be interested in your thought process in creating the warforged integrated armor. Another topic question is what is the reasoning in keeping some of the more monstrous races stats to roll characters out. I would think Goblinoids and orcs in particular should be made available.

Joseph Meehan

I think some form of "behind the scenes" or introspection type stuff about how Eberron has done since the 4e books to now and where you see the setting going in the future would be interesting, if it's possible for you to share that kind of stuff

Serpen Thrope

One thing confused me: In the Wayfarer's Guide it says that Adepts provide many services in Thrane, but in your podcast I believe you said that people who want to be healed go to House Jorasco, since actual divine power is rare. Is Thrane unique to have enough Adepts to provide regular services?

HideousToshi

The two supplements I've always thought Eberron needed was a book like 5 Nations but about the other nations of Khorvaire and a sourcebook on Khyber. It's criminal how little info there is about the two topics

The warforged body plating things are written in a slightly wonky way that has an interesting & almost certainly unintended side effect. Unconcerning is that since you are not technically wearing armor or "considered to be armored" (just like lizardfolk & tortle) defensive fighting style/medium armor master/etc does not apply to you, that is unimportant & nudging warforged away from those in that way might not be a bad thing. **The interesting part** is that because you are not considered to be wearing armor, a warforged could have composite or heavy plating -and- benefit from barbarian rage/monk martial arts/etc. This opens a lot of very interesting possible builds at very little cost. How do you feel about a warforged monk/barbarian using their class and race features in such a way?

Phillip Baker

Hey here is another question, though it is about information not in WGtE. I was curious about your recommendations for prices for airships and etc. Converted to 5E since wealth is lower than in prior editions.
