Greetings, Inner Circle!

I'm very busy finishing Exploring Eberron. I'll have a new article based on the last poll this week. I don't have time to write lots of articles on that scale, but with so many of us trapped inside I'd like to post more short articles. And since I really appreciate all of your support, I wanted to ask you for questions!

To be clear here, the goal is questions with SHORT ANSWERS: Topics I can address in no more than two paragraphs. "What about the Eldeen Reaches?" Isn't a topic I can answer. "What are some adventure hooks for the Children of Winter?" I could.

Thank you again for your ongoing support. I hope you're all weathering this current adventure!

What were the noble titles in Galifar? The dragonmarked houses have a handy section in the introduction to Dragonmarked, but there’s no equivalent three to four paragraphs for the ordinary nobles.

Chad Justis

What are some aspects of Eberron you feel are often overlooked that you think people should take notice of?

Jarrod Taylor

By birth or adoption have there ever been any nonhuman members of the Wynarn line?

Desordre

How does the average person view their place in the cosmos? As in, given the presence of magic and the knowledge of other planes, deific representations, and magic in place of science, what does the average person think about the relationship between planet and moons and space and the world beyond what they immediately see?

The Ultimate Human

In an upcoming adventure, my players are going to head into Thelanis. I want them to have to advance through stories to advance to deeper layers of the plane. Do you have any suggestions for commonly told (in universe) stories or myths that would be unique to Eberron, or ideas for adapting fairytales to the setting?

Tim [Hinklemar]

Any advice on what makes for a good prophecy verse? There are a few examples floating around but when it gets down to it I can never get the feel right.

FalseAesop

While never touched on in any detail, your old Lhazaar Principalities Dragonshards mention the gnome dominated island of Lorghalan, are they similar or distinct from their Zil cousins?

Zed Bundershot

What role-playing and/or stat listing difference do you imagine between the three different elemental rings on an airship?

Joseph Meehan

This might be better for a post-mortem kind of article, but what was the initial design process like? Did you start from a plan, or just create an outline of topics you wanted to cover?

Zed Bundershot

Are there any fundamental differences in the various nation's legal systems?

Lauri Koobas

Is there any significant non-magic-based healing/medicine practiced on Khrovaire? If so, by whom?

Gentoo Penguin (Joshua R)

What are possible reasons/hooks for the quori, both sides, to be the souls that inhabit warforge?

Parker Wimberly

What are some plot hooks for New Cyre and possibly some info on the town as well.

Joseph Blazer

What is the relationship between Zilargo and the Brelish city of Zilspar?

SerGooch

I have a goblin PC who is a Heir of Dhakaan but I dont have much info to feel confident about his backstory. Are there any Dhakaani clans that are known for their Artificers, that want to preserve knowledge and the past or maybe one that wants to unite goblinoids once again?

Ben Kimball

How do you envision an Eberron theatre? Probably more than just The Globe with continual flame footlights, right?

Thursday Garreau

How would you work a Shulassakar PC into a campaign? Do you have any tips for treating crossover with another setting? How far away do you think a "space race" is in Eberron? You've been too good for me for too long, I'm out of "normal" questions!

Narcissa

What sorts of schemes do Zil gnomes plot against their friends and families? Are there any games Zil children play to prepare them for the social arena?

In Secrets of Sarlona the following shipping route is suggested from the Shadow Marches to Tashana: "Ships occasionally cross the Barren Sea from Zarash'ak in the Shadow Marches, bound for one of the small ports on the eastern coast of the Tashana Tundra. This journey's travel time and cost are the same as a trip from the Lhazaar isles to Ardhmen [150 days one way], but mundane sailing ships are usually the only passage available. " Is this almost year long trade route something which is important to the Marcher economy? Is the trade in illegal narcotic lichens, or more dwarven metalwork and shifter scrimshaw and pelts? Do these trade ships put in at Ohr Kaluun (I'd imagine they avoid Dar Jin for fear of tariffs and cargo being seized if so)? Is this shipping overseen by Lyrander or is it non-licensed? I must admit I find this trip across the terrifyingly quiet Barren Sea and its dead zones kind of interesting as a character backstory for a Marcher If it isn't Lyrander-licensed are the sailors mostly Zil (the next most famous sailing race in Khorvaire) or half-orcs and humans from the Marches? Would Sharn and Stormreach see any of this import from Sarlona east and north coast or would it concentrate in Zarash'ak?

Nathan P Rogers-Madsen

So the seas are treacherous, and we know of one Cyre beach town that was destroyed in The Day of Mourning. Where might one find other seaside resorts on and -less so- off Khorvaire?

Reighndragon

As a general question, how far do the dragonmarked houses involve themselves in national politics. How do they view the restrictions in the code of Galifar? In specific: Is it possible for a dragonmarked gnome of House Sivis to take a seat in the advisory council of the king of Q'Barra? Would House Lyrandar be inclined to send an airship for the Aundairian army to perform a paratrooper invasion of Thaliost?
