My latest short article looks at the role of the Dragonmarked Houses in the Last War. Could you target the lightning rail? What would happen if you did?

Next week I'll post the poll, so if you have topic requests for the next major article post them below! Thanks for your support.

IFAQ: The Houses At War

Today I want to continue the discussion of the Dragonmarked Houses with a few questions raised by my Patreon supporters. The first comes from Joseph: My understanding is both Lyrandar and Orien participated in the supply lines of the nation's militaries, not just civilian supplies. Was their neutrality respected?

Nobles of Khorvaire! Titles, practices, hierarchy, national & regional variations

Hi Keith. Eberron is largely defined by the consequences of the Last War, but have there been any efforts to reunify the countries into the Galifar of old?

Hi Keith, I second the nobility of Khoraire but I feel that would be expansive and way beyond a single post. I saw you added something (to my knowledge) in Rising; the idea that Ghallanda also provides sanctuary at it's enclaves. I think this is a great idea! If you're familiar with the movie John Wick, there is a chain of hotels called The Continental that serve as neutral territory basically for the criminal underworld. The part that I think is relevant here is that these Hotels are considered "neutral" ground and no "business" can be conducted there (meaning, murder lol). So I love the idea of an upscale Ghallanda establishment that caters to high end clientele and offers this security/sanctuary. In the sequel movie, the villain mentions how he is safe from John Wick because he can live a life of luxury in the hotel and eat a different meal each day until he dies, safe from any retribution or retaliation. Maybe there is a Ghallanda Enclave that provides this function (in particular the high end classy sanctuary). The "keyshard" to your room opens up a Magnificent Mansion. Maybe a brilliant war criminal that the crown (pick a nation) wants to be able to tap if the war reignites may be put up at this location? Maybe a platinum concordian whose clever scheming caught up with him is hiding out from the law here. Refugee nobles that still want to live in luxury maybe? Could be a base of operations for Lords of Dust and Chamber agents in disguise. The point is that Ghallanda provides total sanctuary and the best luxury and hospitality; no Sentinel Marshal can drag you out of this establishment, no Thuranni assassin can reach you here, no Tharashk bounty hunter, no Inquistive, no officer of the law can touch you. In theory anyways ;). Does this sound like something you can expand on?

I would like to add to next poll: Fashion across Khorvaire

I’d like to resubmit my idea from last month: A lot has changed in D&D since Secrets of Sarlona came out. Races have come and gone, psychic classes are in limbo, new monsters by the dozen and more. If you could update what we know about Sarlona, what would you change? Anything from previous editions you’d keep? New things you’d put in?
