Ah, this one, yeah, the time freezing guy, this episode is not the best IMO, kinda skippable. It's not one I enjoy on repeat. However, I will watch your reaction to see what you thought of it.

Yeah, this definitely leans more into sci fi than most of the buffyverse. You half expect the guy to turn around and see someone in an air force uniform followed by "I'm major Samantha Carter from the United States air force. Your recent work has been very impressive. If you'd be willing to sign an NDA I'd like to talk to you about a top secret program we've been running out of Cheyenne mountain". At least Angel finally talked about his state of mind. Gave a solid answer as to what he's doing and why. He and the host were a good pairing in this episode.

Havent watched the reaction yet, but this one is consistently rated at the bottom of the season... but idk. I kinda just like watching these characters do stuff.

Watched the reaction, thank you. Yeah, as I said this one is kinda forgettable for me. It's not one I jive with. I guess though, what we got out of it is Angel's feelings, and the team transitioning to their own thing. I did like The Hosts line though about a single note just being noise, and it's the change in tone we look for, that's what makes it music. This is fitting for Angel, he needs to look for the next note, the change. I liked that analogy.

I actually like this episode more than I remember, like it's filler but it's enjoyable and The Host is just such a fun presence in this episode.
