Nobody hides a clip show like the Stargate producers

Mithroch

Yes... SG:U right away. It is my favorite

Mithroch

That last scotch and cigar bit is straight out of Boston Legal... which every episode ended with James Spader and William Shatner drinking scotch and smoking cigars on the balcony of their law firm.

Geonn Cannon

They sure rebuilt that control room back to perfect quick, huh...? Did they get in touch with some Ancient contractors between episodes? 😉

David Gipe

An interesting question is are we including a reaction to Star Gate Infinity ;)

Absolutely, you are 100% ready for this immediately after SG:A

David Gipe

I think good ol Mike was our biggest Bip P whoops there. Recall that only Future knowledge prevented him from dominating with perfected hybrids.

Martin Nicholls

BSG cooking hypu? Try to get them in the right order (joke, everybody relax - though miniseries first, ya?). After SGA dive right in yup.

Woolsey is such a baller in this episode. Dude cut his under-table dealing teeth on politicians like Kinsey, and he finally gets to flex those chops here

DJ

While I'll be sad Stargate will be over, I AM STOKED for BSG!!!! Hope you are well :)

Timothy Nikiforovs

This is possibly Woolsey's best showing in the franchise. Top 3 at any rate. He really has come so far from when we first saw him, and I love that this episode highlighted his unique value to the expedition. Also nobody makes the most of a clip show like the stargate writers. The question of whether the Atlantis Expedition has done more harm or good is tricky to answer. You really can't say until we've seen the end result of their presence. In the short term, yes, all the deaths caused by the wraith and asurans and Michael would not have happened without their arrival. Then again, without Atlantis, the results of the ori conflict might have been different, and they could be knocking on Pegasus' door before too long. Aside from that, if the wraith simply continue the cycle of culling without end, countless billions will die eventually anyway. If the wraith are defeated once and for all, then in the long run casualties will be drastically lower, even with the losses in the last 5 years. That's not to say there weren't legitimate grievances or that the SGA crew hasn't made serious mistakes. Still, it's foolish to think anyone could swoop in and wipe the wraith out without causing any collateral damage. Ridding the Pegasus Galaxy of wraith was always going to get messy, and I think many of it's denizens know that. What likely provoked this response was not necessarily the deaths that were a result of their actions, but the fact that for half a decade the Atlantis Expedition have been unilaterally making decisions on behalf of the people of the Pegasus galaxy without consulting the very people who will be most affected. That really needs to change. And yeah, no sense delaying SGU. Just jump in after SGA finishes up. It's just 2 seasons, so might as well wrap up the SG journey. Again, really happy to see some life coming back to the community. That Tropic Thunder reaction was excellent, and Firefly really got people fired up. I know BSG is gonna be goated as well. Definitely a worthy franchise for SG to pass the torch to.

Do we have a google drive or drop box link for this one? I can't get the we link to work. 🙁

Hey Sarah! Which part isn't working for you? There is no GD/DB for this one; unfortunately, it's super sensitive compared to others, that's why I left it just WT. The password is: 1234. LMK if it works!

Haha, oh no, it's me hi i'm the problem it's me. I did not piece together that the 1234 part was the password. Thaaank you. 🙈
