WIP 179 - Austin Stewart drawings (Patreon)

Some of you might remember that even before the comic started, I had comissioned an artist called Austin Stewart to draw the main characters. (In case you don't remember as these were only featured in some very early WIPs, I attached them!)

What I didn't show you yet, though, is this very early picture he did on Espada! This comission was actually done in 2005, wayyy before the comic.

Of course, every character goes through some design changes. Lydia had more tattoos initially and also was carrying a bone flute with her. Tina used to have two swords on her (one was the sword of St. George and she didn't use it in "normal" combat). And Carlotta ... well, she mostly stayed the same, though you can't really see the white fringe in Austin's drawing. Good on you, Carlotta!
