Content

Here's a new dev version for my lovely Operators and Handlers.  It allows you to generate a customisable backstory for your agent from birth, through childhood, university, recruitment into the intelligence community either as an analyst or a field agent, and her training and agency career up to the start of the game.

Things that are not in it yet:

  • Avatar outfits past age 18 (drawn but not implemented)
  • Relationship tables, which are customisable lists of your agent's sexual history at various stages of her life (coded but not implemented)
  • Skills and skill point allocation (coded but not implemented)
  • You'll also notice lots of placeholder content that still needs to be written.

Starting tomorrow we'll be adding this stuff to the game.  This is the final pre-release "polishing stage" that I've been threatening to reach.  Please let me know your critiques and feedback here or on Discord.

As usual please don't share this file with others – it's incomplete, and would give new players a terrible first impression of the game (because it ends right before the story starts).  I would hate to see copies of dev tests out in the wild, because they would harm the reputation of the game.  This is for your eyes only!

Ahh, i see it's meant to end before the game starts. I thought it was a bug and decided to message you about it, lol.

Haha thanks anyway buddy. I've done some minor bug fixes today so I made that passage go to the "end of content" screen so nobody else gets confused.

Goblin steve

Oh I love that West Wing easter egg :)

Firstly, that's really encouraging, as one of my aims is to make the game less linear and more individualised to player choices. :-) But yeah, good idea, I will add it to the task list!
