Hey guys!  Short report, because everything's moving smoothly: I'm working on edits, our illustrator lovely Victoria is working on art.

I had lots of good feedback from story testers!  Their suggestions are helping me punch up various moments.  But generally, everybody seems to like the new episode!  I hope you guys will too 🤞🏻😬🤞🏻

Okay, that's seriously the whole report.  I'm gonna get back to the word mines and dig out some more hot ideas.  Have a great week, everybody, release date should be announced soon!

Hey Crush, I wanted to ask, in your original version of the game (oh so long ago now) there was hypnotism content. I was wondering if there was ever plans for anything like that to come back? (it was really good)

Hi Crush, I'd like to remind you what you've posted on July 31st, referring to the 1.19 release: "On Discord, whydoineedthis22 asked if it'd be possible for me to release a pre-edited version alongside the final version, so you guys can compare the difference? I think this is a good idea and I'll aim to make it happen after the release." Cheers!

I liked the hypno content, I thought it was on genre in a *Bourne Identity* kind of way. The AAA game designer who played it back then and gave feedback really loved the mechanic and thought it'd be a cool way to customise the heroine in-game, like swapping out weapon mods except you're doing it with your brain in order to succeed at the mission. I'm not sure it really fits so well with the newer version, which has a different premise (barmaid not hooker), and in general has a more grounded feel? But maybe, if it serves the story as it develops.

So I did some analysis of this myself. These are the things I added in the 3 weeks before release: – Rewrote hostel encounter (Chas) – it originally had a different NPC which wasn't really working – Uploaded new clothes – Uploaded dynamic NPC art – Polished Nin dialogue – Added Emilia “rich dad” backstory exposition – Added Bonaht bar training session – Polished Bonaht BJ scene – Added “abort mission” path – Added end of shift section – General editing and scene polishing I do think I over-edited. Some things I agonised over – like the bar training scene with Bonaht – could've probably just been not bothered with since nobody really seemed to notice or feed back on it. I feel like it might be confusing if I release an old half-finished version as a Patreon post (especially as we're kinda close to the next episode anyway 😬), but HMU on Discord if you wanna see the '3 weeks undercooked' version. There I am known as: crushstation

Thanks for the info. It could indeed be confusing to release that un-polished version of 1.19 now :) My suggestion is to poll the higher-tier Patrons to see if they approve a half-baked release of 1.20 now - it seems you are just polishing the story up at this stage.
