Incredible series. To me it kind of seems like the author may have enlisted the services of like a semi-professional translator, who can mostly keep things grammatically correct, but still has some very unusual wording that a fluent English speaker wouldn't use.

Lots of directors diverge from the book to fit the story into a movie, but I think you could stick to this exactly as is and come out with this era's Wiseau cult hit
