this is the inevitable future when human-orc interbreeding has rendered them indistinguishable from one another

saintbeau

imagine a 40k Ork taking the pigskin 100 yards straight through the alabama D-Line

TLT

like only 4 min in and already experiencing physical pain, pretty good

Bleak because the e1 version of this kind of person is much more palatable and sane than the real thing. Admittedly I grew up with hockey culture which seems somehow substantially worse than football. Something special about it is this condition you develop if you get enough head injuries from hockey and/or drunk driving where you namedrop friends' shit heel older brothers/ older brother's shit heel friends as though everyone present will or should know who they are. Gus Tooper seems like he has a good life and a decent degree of emotional intelligence tbh, in comparison being a hockey parent puts you one wrong turn away at all times from being in a Fargo plotline.

You can tell Beerski gets so much tang

Really good performance from Andrew here :-)

when i went to mizzou, there was always some random guys dad that would be throwing some insane blowout tailgate and he wanted to do a ton of shots and cosplay as a young man for awhile and then at like 8pm his very patient wife would parade him around to say goodbye to everyone while he was too drunk to move. one time, i saw one of these guys actually flip a frozen pizza that was on a barbecue grill and he did it on purpose. basically that is who gus tooper was

ggmacd

a cool thing about that kind of guy is that they all have a standard and recognized theme song in Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen. Doesn't matter if it makes him laugh or cry or flip a pizza off a barbecue or sing along -- he knows that song is for him and he never feels more seen by anyone or anything than by bruce in that moment.

Oh. My. God. Growing up bathed in hockey in Minnesota was a really uniquely insufferable experience. The part about how they have these insular namedrops and lingo that everyone else is required to hear constantly.. flashbacks to having to be around that shit
