By now we've all heard lots (both rumors and confirmed) about the drama and dysfunction that's taken place since filming started. I don't mean to discredit any grievances, but could fans get a couple of uplifting anecdotes from set?

Two more related ones: In June it was announced that Circle K was opening up more Chicago stores (https://www.cspdailynews.com/company-news/circle-k-opening-more-urban-stores-chicago). There's been a lot of speculation that this is simply cashing in on Sodas' popularity, but there's also rumors that this is in preparation for a Babe: Pig in the City style sequel. Can you confirm or deny? Naperville has been buzzing with fans trying to get a picture with the Sodas cooler and even the Circle K sign. It's obvious that the film didn't take place at the Fox Valley Mall Circle K, but there's heated debate happening about whether the Circle K in Sodas is the one on Route 59 (in my opinion context clues make this painfully obvious) or Washington Street. Can you guys settle this once and for all?

Cupine2003

Will there be a commentary track for Sodas?

Matthew O'Reilly

Is there discrimination in the soda world? Perhaps by color, caffeine content, or corporate overlord. I imagine a Pixar film smooths off the rough edges of society to tell its tale.

Ontario Guy

This is a question for Scratchers. On most scratchers you can just uncover the area with the barcode and scan it to see if that's a winner. Would that be like a ruined orgasm for a scratcher and do any scratchers have a kink for that?

happy_doodles

Will there be any Sodas attractions coming to Disney parks?

Lord Beerus

I understand that in early preproduction Coke was more of an older George Clooney-type father character who had to learn to accept that his children had grown into adult sodas in their own right. Where did the idea to turn him into the young soda we know and love come from?

Andrea Dielman

Once the Soda actors were done filming on set, what kind of lives did they go back to? Their hometown 7-11s in small towns across America?

Jake McIntyre

Was the decision to completely erase Mtn Dew Zero (superior to Diet Dew in every way) from the sodaverse: (a) done in anticipation of him being the star of Sodas 2, (b) dictated by PepsiCo, (c) knuckling under to the diva demands of Hasan, or (d) was it just an oafish goof by the writers?

Pedder Chestnut

A lot of soda humor is related to cans, are the bottled sodas a separate culture?

Andrea Dielman

Are 2 liters like mythical giants to the soda can community?

Austin Bradley

During Surge’s death, it’s stated that Surge was discontinued in 2003. This ignores the revival in 2015, still available to this day. Is this an error or should the audience interpret this as a political statement against the re-release’s formulation?

Austin Bradley
>>118244723

Further, what’s the artistic purpose for featuring Surge with this obvious ambiguity instead of Vault, which would have avoided this controversy?

Ben

plopadop

What was it like working with the sodas?

ToddUmptious

How will this movie be retitled for foreign localities? Soda isn't a popular term in eu/uk/ireland. Most people just say "getting a can of X" but "Cans" might lead everyone to think the films about alcoholic beverage. Perhaps an R rated cut of the film would be possible? Could use AI to replace soda brand logos with alcoholic logos. Something like how March of the Penguins outside of France was all Morgan Freeman'd, but in France the penguins had names and adorable french accents. edit: follow up question, similar to the first but more of a focus on China. How will Disney change the film for the locality? I think you could still keep in how much the sodas want to be drank, its a nice parallel of sacrificing yourself for the good of communism. But the sodas dying? And having souls? It might be a little too close to ghosts and maybe even gays.

shonenxgump

M&MS AND SODAS SAME UNIVERSe?

Jash Bugner

Did the guy who went crazy from bearing witness to the sodas become Chips, the New Tarzan?

Petergrifgin

Will "All The Bubbles In the World" be released as a single? How involved was Nate Ruess in the creative process of the film? Did he cameo as a soda? I know I definitely heard him on that track, but I didn't catch him in the credits.

Petergrifgin

Mr.Pibb was conspicuously absent from the film. Could you shed some light on any of the behind the scenes drama that led to the snub? Did Dr. Pepper's agents lay out any conditions on Pibb's involvement due to their ugly history, or was it more related to the unseemliness and slovenliness of his potassium benzoate preservatives as opposed to Pepper's sodium benzoate?

Austin Bradley
>>118302990

Mr. Pibb was reformulated and rebranded to Pibb Xtra, who was in the film. Why waste a question if you’re not going to do your research like a real fan would?

Petergrifgin
>>118302990

I see my blunder not as folly but as a happy accident, because now I have another good reason, on top of many others, to revisit the film again. Good day!

Matthew Perpetua

How do you actually write the script when there's four credited writers - my best guess is that you all collectively break the plot and then one of you writes the proper script and it gets punched up?

Lavinia Petrescu
>>118123231

It would be the best character and completely eclipse all other characters. They should make a Polar film, it only after Sodas 2 and Scratchers come out. Build the cinematic universe some more

Orville Sashay

I know I'd be better off as a utility soda. More useful too. Does the unlikely mixture of reincarnation and animism have to be true for me to fulfill my destiny? Tell me there's another way!

Nick Jones

The scratchers cum when they get scratched, and soda want to be drank, what is it like for a cig to be smoked?
