Hi pyyer! sx_lemans ver 3.0 was released today, and it created some issues with your work. For example, le mans 25 have issues in the big screens TVs around the track. Maybe you can investigate this and of course do a checkup for possible other issues? Thanks.

@everyone: As written in the post, extensions pack is designed for track v2.9 and after checking it is not fully compatible with track v3..0 I am currently working on updating the extensions and it should be released in the coming days

great job, but i have some issues with all you 4 extesnions, the floor in the pits are gone, and plenty of terrain are flickering

That sounds like some original track version issues or extensions conflicts. Please try to remove completely the folder sx_lemans then reinstall the track with the link provided in the post. When done, re-install the extensions

Will the floor in the pits ever be fixed? I've installed everything manually after a clean install of the track and extension and it's definitely you're extension that's causing the issue, as just the original track on it's own works fine. I think the original track getting the final update of 3.1 is what's breaking you're extension. Thanks regardless for all you're hard work on these extensions!

Hi, I’ve found the fix for this issue. Navigate to "assettocorsa/content/tracks/sx_lemans/24h_2025/extension/ext_config.ini" and change the following lines: [INCLUDE: ../../common/ext_config-pyyer-lemans-displays.ini] ACTIVE = 1 to [INCLUDE: ../../common/ext_config-pyyer-lemans-displays.ini] ACTIVE = 0 Surprisingly, the large trackside screens are what cause the problem. Once disabled, everything should work as expected! 🙂

Hi Pyyer, after digging into this for a few hours, I’ve identified the issue as coming from your extension. Something in "common/ext_config-pyyer-lemans-displays.ini" conflicts with the track on v3.1, causing sponsor board issues, but pit floors do appear. In v3.0, the sponsor boards work correctly, but the pit floor and pit garage floor disappear instead. Changing the following lines in "assettocorsa/content/tracks/sx_lemans/24h_2025/extension/ext_config.ini" [INCLUDE: ../../common/ext_config-pyyer-lemans-displays.ini] ACTIVE = 1 to [INCLUDE: ../../common/ext_config-pyyer-lemans-displays.ini] ACTIVE = 0 resolves the issues entirely. Just wanted to pass this along in case it helps track down the root cause.

That fixed it, well spotted man! I have one final issue after driving just the normal track for a few months now. Tertre rouge kerbs were fixed in the final update so they don't lift the car off the ground anymore but sadly Pyyers extension still runs on the old kerbs so that's the only issue left I'd say but I think that issue might be down to Pyyer to fix it, not sure if anyone else could?

Haha, thank you! It only took me a few hours. I like fixing things and finding solutions/workarounds! I have been writing lots of them on a notepad, which I'll release soon in Pyyer's FAQ and corresponding tracks! 🙂 May I ask for specific turns of the track where you're noticing the issue and with what cars? Also, I am assuming you're on the latest version of the track, v3.1? If I could have this data from you, I could give it a look and see what I can do from my side. I want the track to be as perfect as possible too.

I would never have guessed it was the TV screens causing the pit box to disappear because they aren't related but just goes to show you how these things can in fact conflict with one another so kudos again dude! Tertre rouge is the corner just before the mulsanne straight, left side kerbs you'll notice on the V3.1 version you can go across the kerb and the car will go across it as normal, Pyyers extension is still configured for V3.0 so the car will lift up over the ground quite abruptly. This was also an issue on the V3.0 of the normal track but the last minor update to V3.1 fixed this kerbing issue by reducing the height of it.

So, great news! I've found the solution. Navigate to "assettocorsa\content\tracks\sx_lemans\chicane\data" and copy "surfaces.ini" and paste it in "assettocorsa\content\tracks\sx_lemans\24h_2025\data". Click 'yes' if it's going to ask if you want to overwrite. It seems they fixed the problems of the drain-like kerb in v3.1 within the "surfaces.ini" file. The file wasn't touched in 2 years, not even by Pyyer, I am assuming. So, this could potentially bring some other benefits! 🙂 Let me know if you find a few more things that are bugging you, including other tracks! Of course I would ask to report the "buggy" stuff to the corresponding track pages on Pyyer's uploads! ^^ --- I also highly recommend using 3D Trees by Johannes Steiger, which enhances the experience like nothing else and looks absolutely fantastic. It may not work immediately due to the version being older, and thus a few adjustments are required; I’ll post a fix for this soon on the mod’s discussion page. Additionally, ClimaxF1’s “Le Mans 2024 Texture Update” is highly recommended. It’s a CM-enabled skin that significantly improves the track’s assets and textures. If the vegetation feels a bit sparse at times (trees aside), the “Rich Summer” skin by TheNuvolari complements it perfectly and looks amazing. Both skins can be enabled simultaneously. All of these are available for free on Overtake, and they combine beautifully with Pyyer’s extension for this track! 😄

FIXED! Man I could kiss you hahah Honestly insane work fixing these issues, Pyyer should hire you! Thank you so much! Yeah I have 3D trees already and yes what a big difference they make I'll give those texture updates a try too, cheers again!

I have checked a lot of things this weekend and it is not really the file "ext_config-pyyer-lemans-displays.ini" that causes the issue but the use of a material with same name for original displays and the pit floors since track version 3.1. Anyway I have found a way to make both work at the same time so it will be included in update 4.2 (and the sufaces.ini fix too 😉)

That makes a lot of sense. It would indeed be weird if the displays were the actual cause. I suspected this might be the case, but I wasn’t sure where to start investigating. Hence, the simple "disable" workaround. So I’m really glad you figured it out. Thank you, Pyyer! 🙂

Hi I hope you can help. I've completely deleted the previous track and installed your latest version but I've lost the track layers, grandstands etc. Total weirdness. I've even changed the: [INCLUDE: ../../common/ext_config-pyyer-lemans-displays.ini] ACTIVE = 0 I'm running CSP 0.3.0-preview120 If that helps. Tried rolling back to your previous versions but it's borked now. Any suggestions?
