Another win for Modern Infantry Firepower! I'm don't think we've done any Syrians yet, might be worth taking Soviet-style squad organisation out for a spin.

I have just finished off Semper Fi, Syria! Mission 5 (hence this is a bit later than normal). And whew! What a slog. Not... tremendously difficult despite some sticky moments and mistakes: mostly a bit of grind chewing through the entire two hour time limit.

The next mission also has a two hour time limit, but more open ground and plenty of firepower so I think it should be easier. Of course, I've probably just doomed myself by writing that even more than the scenario designer doomed me when he named the mission "Milk Run". We'll see.

Anyway, Mission 5 is the main effort for this week. I'm aiming to get that out to you guys on Friday. I have no idea what I'm going to put out on the normal Youtube, not really having anything up my sleeve, though the YT members can get Baltic Shield Part 2. This is why I should really have some stand-by missions up my sleeve to chuck out. Oh well.

Actually, I could do a quick first-impressions of the JL28 STAFFEX and try to hit some notes on how modern naval-maritime warfare works. That could be interesting. And quick.

Beyond Mission 5 is another Unit Guide- Marders last time, so its time for something modern. Been a while since we did a tank... T62 is pretty common, though T90 would probably be more popular. Leopard or Challenger could be on the menu, though dealing with any Western kit on the battlefield in Ukraine inevtiably brings out the Russian disinfo bots. I'll think of something.

Back to the polls, there's a choice between Armour Penetration and Infantry Firepower tests for the WW2 games.
