Poll 52 Results, Poll 53 and This Week (Patreon)

And that's officially a year's worth of polls! Looks like the first anniversary is seeing the polls go back to their roots and poking holes in some WW2 armour. No idea what yet, exactly... I was listening to a Tank Chat about the Hetzer last night, so maybe the Hetzer.

In other news, I've played through and scripted out the final Semper Fi Syria mission. Somewhat similar to Mission Three, but a little bit more tense. A fitting conclusion that could have gone dramatically sideway with only a few more idiot decisions from the pixeltruppen!

That's the campaign over: it should surprise nobody that it's a Coalition victory with a serious bodycount, though with more Marine casualties than I would like. They build up over 12 missions.

With that out of the way, it's time to tread water for a little bit as final prep for the Winter Turn-by-Turn ramps up. The big issue is playtesting, which can be a real issue in these circumstances: it's time consuming, it can potentially 'spoil' the scenario (probably not as much as, you know: making it, but still).

There are no briefings yet, no AI plans and the points for the objectives will make no sense. But apart from that it's pretty much ready to go! Hopefully a couple of weeks will be all it takes, especially now that the Marines are almost out of the way and the Turn-by-Turn gets shunted into main effort position.

That's a little way still in the future though, we've got another poll to round out this update. Arty/CAS prevailed last time for the Moderns, so we're choosing between Armour Penetration and Infantry Firepower again.
