Not as bad as I had feared! The action was limited to too relatively small areas, which made it easy to keep track of. I mean, to the extent that a plan of "stand here, shoot angry men in shorts" needs keeping track of.

It raises my hopes for the 5th (and final) mission. This takes place on basically the same map and I'm going to be able to use some of the same planning to get some new objectives done. Of course, with that done I'll have to find another campaign...

Or maybe something new.

In other news, that means we're onto a Basics video next. It's probably high time we covered mods so that should be pretty straightforward.

Your campaigns are exactly why I started following you on YouTube. Excited for new ones too, enjoy the weekend!

For the next campaign, are there any "mountainous" campaigns around? Alternatively would love the German campaign from CMSF2

This campaign suffers from too many defensive missions. The AI is just not up to it.

Same opinion I’ve been writing up a high school teen drama based on Persia Predicament’s timeline

Yep. The last one is an attack, at least, even if it's probably the weirdest I've seen yet

IIRC, the US campaign on Sicily is mountainous. Plus, of course, there's a Monte Cassino campaign. And from what I hear, the US get grinding repetition and the CW get grinding attrition. So, not fun.

Surely after this one the Durham’s must be combat ineffective.

UsuallyHaplessVideos

They should be getting close to (or have crossed) 100% casualties for their rifle platoons. I guess they're just bussing replacements up from the beaches

“ join the Durham Light Infantry! Many open opportunities and chances for upward mobility!”
