The cute little light tank stepping up to represent the letter 'C'! I like the Chaffee, but I guess that's mostly because it just looks cool and I religiously watched the Battle of the Bulge as a child (along with Kelly's Heroes).

In greatly simplified terms it's a Stuart with a 75mm gun, allowing it to punch above it's weight class.

In the Unit Guide space, next in the pipe we have Dragon for 'D' and I guess I should start getting on with Elefant for 'E', unless anyone can think of a more interesting candidate for Number 5.

In other news (it feels really weird to start 3 sentences in row with "In") I've gotten a lot done behind the scenes this week and the plan is to try and nail down a campaign to get stuck into over the weekend.

I’m dying to know who did, and who did not, understand the Telly Savalas reference.

The Chaffee is really good in Men of War: Assault Squad 2 because of the good gun and lower cost than a Sherman. I haven't use them in CM:FI, which is both my least played CM game and the only WWII one I own.

I remember waiting for the armor to arrive in TOAW’s Korean scenario, only to find that by 1950 the heaviest tank of US Army in Korea were Chaffees

Oh, new hapless lore dropped

I wish the CM engine allowed tank riders to man a pintle-mounted MG, you know like they did in real life.

I think I'll always have a weakness for the M3, primarily due to the Haunted Tank comics I read as a kid in the 60s & 70s. Don't get me wrong, Chaffee is a better tank.
