Bonus: TIE Fighter (Patreon)

A blast from the past for this month's bonus video. I'm not 100% happy with the video, mostly because I'm ad-libbing while trying to fly and kept losing my train of thought, plus there were some technical issues, but... I guess it's coming up on May 4th so I thought I'd keep it in.

The main reason I like TIE Fighter is because of the vibe. Back in X-Wing you were a heroic Rebel pilot doing heroic rebel things... here (at least to begin with) you're some poor faceless Imperial mook fighting a counter-insurgency campaign. Most of the time you're not even fighting the Rebel Alliance, you're up against local pirates, independent systems or Imperial traitors. It's got much more of that Star Wars gritty lived-in sense.

The alternative was going to be ripping apart the comedy fortifications of one of the towns in the Oblivion remaster... lots of nostalgia about these days.
