Poll 98 Results, Poll 99 and This Week (Patreon)

Well, 13-6 gives us a pretty emphatic win for WW2 Armour Penetration this week. I wonder if I should tie that in to the Winter Turn-by-Turn and see how the tanks match up against one another... if I haven't already. I'm sure I've shot at Pershings and Tigers before.

Anyway, I've gathered all the names in. Almost everyone has gotten a role, anyone who didn't should end up on an unassigned list to provide names for otherwise nameless pixeltruppen as they get picked off.

The plan (such that it is) is to sort out the introduction video today, then get stuck in.

While that's going on, the usual schedule still applies. We're back round to Basics... I think it's high time we tackled the one true tactical enabler, the skill that determines the outcomes of battles, campaigns and wars: traffic management.

To quote Clausewitz: "In war, everything is simple. But the simplest of things become very difficult." Anyone who has tried to drive a company down a road in CM has probably gnawed on their mouse in frustration at the TacAI pathfinding itself into some kind of horrifying traffic jam. There is a bit of a dark art to effectively convoying in CM and it's high time we covered it.

That leaves us with the poll for this week. We're back to Moderns: Arty/CAS won out last time, so it's between Armour Pen and Infantry Firepower.
