Poll 106 Results, Poll 107 and This Week (Patreon)

WW2 Infantry Firepower came out on top this week: we've only put the WW2 American Rifles through our new-fangled test thus far, so we should probably round up some basic German infantry for a comparison.

In other news, the (also new-fangled) plan to complement each Platoon Patrol episode with a quick explainer for the featured platoon means I'm going to be busy at least today still dealing with US Stryker Infantry. The guide is all scripted, recorded and cut: I just need to get the footage. That's somewhat time consuming, what with having to get lots of little clips and having the create mini-scenarios in the editor or QBs to show what I want to show, but there's only ten minutes or so.

Fingers crossed that's done today: the current plan is to release the guide on Monday and the Platoon Patrol run on Friday. The timing here means you guys are probably going to get it at the same time as everyone else, but you're also getting an extra video so I guess that's a wash!

Past that, I think we're in line for another Basics video. Having slogged through a horrifying muddy ditch in the Platoon Patrol, I think it might be worth investigating whether infantry encumbrance does actually have an impact on their speed. It certainly effects their rate of fatigue, but having discounted the effects of weight on speed in the video I figure I should actually look into it
