Poll 111 Results, Poll 112 and This Week (Patreon)

Well, 15-3 is a very comprehensive win for more artillery! I quietly got that short done last night: we're taking the good old 2S1s out.

The main effort for this week then is Platoon Patrol 4 and it's accompanying unit guide. The community picked Syrian Motor Rifle Infantry in BMPs-1s, which is a bit of a step change from technicals. I thought the Canadians would win, but obviously not.

How much detail to go into with a platoon guide is something I'll need to decide: the dismount component of all the Syrian squads is basically the same. Sure, there are a couple of differences here and there, but whether you have an RPD or a PKM isn't going to matter that much in CM terms (especially seeing as though I'm not carrying them!). At the same time, I think I've covered all the vehicles elsewhere, so it might be worth just covering the dismounts. Having a more generic MRP video would certainly mean I wouldn't have to make another quick guide for each of the platoons. We'll see.

In other news, this weeks poll is back to WW2. Infantry Firepower won last time, so it's between Armour Penetration and Artillery Effects.
