I was tempted to make the thumbnail a huge explosion, but stuck to the conventional. That said, I haven't found any good images of Syrian BMP3s- apparently they have some, but it's much easier to find Russian, Yemeni or South Korean (?) ones.

Anyway... a fun little unit at the pointier end of Syrian capabilities. It's let down a bit by some ammo loadout issues, but they're mostly solvable if you raid the BMPs.

I suspect they'll either do really well on the Platoon Patrol or get absolutely bushwhacked. It wouldn't be the first time I've had a daisy-chain of BMP3s go off...

The South Korean BMP-3s are sold to pay back Russian state debt to South Koreans I remember. Also the ball mount really feel like some James Bond stuff for me

Anyone inside that BMP when its ammo explodes gets a quick, painless death.

These days, probably better to think of BMPs as an APC with nice direct fire armaments. It's not gonna do well at all as a primary target, but if infantry are doing their jobs and drawing all the attention maybe it can shoot 'n skoot when 'they' aren't looking?

Average BF omissions in changing the ammo for different unit orbats.

It's a weird one. Though it's annoying that non-Mech Syrian Airborne get 8 RPG16s, which is a much more useful number

Well, you could probably make that argument for all IFVs, BMPs are just at the lower end of the survivability spectrum
