Well. Honestly it's hard to say if Warrior has been done a little dirty by Battlefront or it's just... kinda crap. I knew the Rarden cannon was going to be a let down, but I thought the add-on armour might make up for it. No such luck!

I suspect the Warriors will be taking a back seat to the dismounts on the Platoon Patrol...

I don't know that there's any public info out there on what the armor in the composite panels is, but considering it doesn't seem to have really hurt the vehicle's mobility in CM or real life it's likely a thin layer of composite armor with with some spaced armor. So something like thin steel->air-> composite which should be pretty effective against small projectiles like autocannon/14.5 rounds and would make for thick but light panels as it's mostly air. The picture of the damaged armor in your video seems to support that, it looks like the inside of the panel is mostly empty.

I'd speculate that the performance in CM is fairly plausible, based on the weight, size considering the spaced armor, and the fact they were upgraded to slat and/or ERA on top of these panels. If they offered good RPG protection it seems like there wouldn't be a reason to add extra protection on top of them. It's hard to know exactly how much protection they'd offer against an RPG, but I'd think a side on hit from a small HEAT round would go through. Can't really tell without knowing the story behind some of the picture, but it's possible there wasn't much post pen damage or they were hit by frag rounds.
