Hi all!

The moment I finished the Bunny Rabbit design, I knew a Jackalope variant was in our future, haha.  This mythical critter sports a set of antlers, an alternate smile, and longer muzzle to give it a bit more of that jack rabbit profile.  I hope you enjoy it! To those who may not know what a Jackalope is, this silly mythical beast has been a subject of legend and myth in North America for generations... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JackalopeI do suggest leaning toward a little higher infill with this version to give those antlers a bit more strength, especially when using more brittle filaments like Silks or Mattes.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

Print-In-Place.  No additional supports needed.  Several joints must be wiggled and "cracked" free in order to articulate them.  Be Extra careful with brittle filaments, like silks

Pre-supported version included for extra print stability (recommended).  Support is connected to the front legs that must be removed and discarded.

15-25% Infill.

3 Walls (when using a 0.4mm nozzle). <--This is very important!

Very cool. What are the odds of you making the antlers as a separate pieces so we can glue on later. It would be nice to print the rabbit in multi color and the antlers in brown without using my AMS. Thanks.

I had a lot of issues with the joints on the original rabbit (only one of your designs I've had issues with). Is this ultimately the same joints?

The joints are the same as the original bunny. I did make updates to the original Bunny after release, not sure if you tried those.

I was giddy when I saw this!! I love the bunny and this is so unique and special that everyone I show is just ecstatic! Definitely printing this soon! However, if we’re thinking about mythical beasts it makes me wonder if there’s a chupacabra in the works down the road! 😉

(https://www.patreon.com/posts/hub-info-and-69483736) MMF Tribes is an alternative to Patreon. They offer the same perks and files, but they are not linked. You can either join one or the other. If you think you would prefer Tribes, let me know and I can send you a trial to try it out for the month. You would just need to cancel whichever one you don't want to keep before next month. Otherwise it will bill you for both on April 1st.
