That song that my kids are always singing immediately comes to mind!

Zombie Saint

matmire_makes

That song has been in my head ALL month, Hahaha

Travis Gilbert

You keep doing this… releasing new things when I’m on the road but jokes on you this time I brought a printer with me, this should be a fun print to play with tonight.

Chris Tuttle

I think you mean a crappybarbra good sir. 😝

Verito Su

Genial, es un animal típico aquí en Uruguay.

Anomura

New releases have become a running joke in my house, you ALWAYS release the CUTEST THINGS the night before I vend a huge show. Guess I'm pulling another all nighter. What a great job!! ❤️

matmire_makes

Oh no! haha. Sorry about that. The timing just always seems to land at the end of the week.

MisFitz3DZ

This is GREAT GREEN HELL vibes all the way bro nice work

Jeremie DeWitt

That means a guinea pig should be coming soon lol

Laser Tek Creations

What’s the brim gap setting? They pop right off for you!

matmire_makes

I typically use 0.35mm. You may have to experiment a bit for your printer, but that has worked great for me!

Jdots3dworld

I'm down for a guinea pig too!!!

Lucy

lovely <3

We love this model!! Not sure if anyone else is seeing the same issue, but the connector for the head did not print well on the first one we tried.

Elizabeth Porter

You keep upping the 3D print game! Love this one because it's my favorite small animal. Thanks for the amazing work on these.

matmire_makes

It should behave almost identically to a bunch of my other models. I reused that part exactly. Have you had trouble there with my other recent models? Maybe it was just a fluke.

RavenHuff Acres

Have not had trouble with any others, I’ll try again and see how it goes. Thanks!!

Jeffrey Ribeiro

Hey Mat! Been loving the models. Question. The crested gecko I have the tail disconnects at the exact same spot every time (after printing). I’ve scaled it, 80%, 90% and now 100% and still the same failure at the same spot, nowhere else. Bambu Carbon x1, Xiro gold and red filament, recalibrated machine yesterday. Any known fix for it?

matmire_makes

Oh weird. I did redesign those joints for the Hognose, which should make them more secure. I can retrofit the newer joints to this model, but I’m not sure exactly when I’ll get to it. Shouldn’t be too long.

Jorge Ocampo Jr

how about a quokka =) You know how to add the cuteness perfectly

Cerulean Ronin

You should totally make a wombat model! Love your stuff!

Matthew Wolf

what is the smallest these should be made?

Brigitte Anderson

I would also love to see a mini of this please Mat!

douglas irvine

Printing the Bambu 3MF on A1s, and the 100% scale head attachment clip doesn't rotate into position like on the other models. Can't event force it with leverage from a screwdriver. Other models like the bearded gecko it just rotates into place w/o much effort. Any ideas?

matmire_makes

It should rotate freely. If it doesn’t, the first thing I usually suggest is to make sure that supports weren’t turned on. If not that, I would double check the print preview to see if there is any fusing between the joint and the head. Some settings can alter the mesh and cause problems (like “make overhangs printable”)

douglas irvine

Totally right! I reset all the slicer settings to default and the problem went away. Thank you for your support and your awesome creations!
