Roserade returned to the guild in failure. Meowstic scoffed at her rash attempt to cull the Sableye horde. She told her that careful planning and clever application is what is needed. She told her team to wait behind as she journeyed into the mountain. Within the caves she set a trap. Using her psychic power she dug a trench within the cave, then replaced a thin layer of dirt to cover it. Any Sableye who would step on it would fall into the pit. Or atleast that's what should have happened. While Meowstic was digging the whole, she was unaware of a Sableye's ability to be nearly invisible in the darkness. They simply kept up to her as she was working. One Sableye triggered the trap, intentionally cutting her route out of the cave off. That was their cue to pounce. Perhaps she could have avoided this if she did a little more research.
