Creature Analysis log - Segment 477

We've noticed that many of the Pikmin on this planet live in isolated sector communities, we have deemed SCs. Each SC has adapted in different ways to survive. One particular specimen has caught our researchers attention. Specimen 8338 SC52, honestly, it's pretty hard to miss. We have yet to actually see how long Pikmin live considering how regularly they are hunted. Our researchers theorized she's at least 22 years old, longer lived than any Pikmin we have encountered so far.

Considering it has lived for so long, the Pikmin of SC52 have began to worship her. And yes, I said 'Her'. As I mentioned, different SCs adapt to their surroundings. This SC reproduces sexually, as oppose to asexually or by pollination like we normally see. Specimen 8338 is seemingly sterile, but rewards loyal Pikmin with sexual favors. A couple of our researchers went to see if this sort of thing only applies to Pikmin. I'm still awaiting their results. We have noticed however that these Pikmin are ferocious fighters and defend their nests vigilantly. They must want to protect their 'Queen' or 'Diety'. We're still not sure how 8338 is viewed by them.

In short, SC52 is possibly the strongest SC we've researched so far. Perhaps natural selection favors the sexual? Perhaps they're thriving from luck? We'll continue our examination of this next and write any more revelations.
