I didn't design it to do that, but you can leave the snake in that position!!!

This model has several objectives, and the main one was to test this articulation because I want to make a dragon with my art style, and also be able to make several other models!

You can reduce the size of the model just ensure good adhesion to the print bed, use Brim! XD

Thank you for waiting for my vacation!Disclaimer: I didn't make the model to stand up, you can make them stand up but it's not guaranteed!!! XD

Print settings:

Wall line count: 3 - 4

Infill: 20%

I made a 3mf file for Prusa, I'm still learning how to use the slicer better, as I've only used it a few times. Receiving suggestions to improve files is always good! suggestions@zou3d.com

On the last day of the month you will receive the Backup of all models in your MMF.

Oh yeah, will be printed shortly... Have you tested already what % the smallest possible print would be?

Richard Lefebvre

Looks great and I'm looking forward what you come up with for dragons with articulation like this. All the big dragons at this point all look like copies of each other. I can only imagine with your style you'll come up with something unique 😀

Donna Rigler

hope you had a good time, already got it printing at 25%, 50% and 100% :D

Donna Rigler

if not i have a 25% printing now i can let you know if its a success for me lol

The Geek Galleria

I have a full scale painted and a 50% scaled unpainted printing right now!

Donna Rigler

no worries ive a few things on the plate with it so be a few hrs but ill let you know as soon as its done :)

Brooke Leigh

That's a seriously boopable snoot!!! I love it!!!

zou3d

I managed to reach 60%

Richard Moore

Eww when I get home later I’ll do doing a few different % usually have a small and a medium and large in dragons and snakes etc Will use some rainbow and tri color color filaments! Also with the dragon I know it hard to try and invent the wheel but need to try and make yours not like the saturated ones that’s are available. What you could do and I would love you for it is to do your print in parts so we can easily make it multicoloured like you do for the eyes but could do same the feet or tail etc. I know can use my AMS but it adds soo much time and waste where I still like to print in parts while making use of the AMS I just choose print objects and have them all made on the same bed in different colours etc just my preference:)

Paul Simister

Just about works at 25% but it's fragile.

Donna Rigler

its printed fine at 25% for me but the joins on the tail end could be a weak point as theyre quite thin but im happy with it myself :) 50% and 100% are still printing

JPetitt

Just started it at 65% :)

NatureGoblin

Just finished a 40% - feels about as sturdy as normal ones do around 50% - very pleased :-D

zou3d

For large models it is always good to be able to print in parts, for these models I will always do my best to always separate all the parts

Sam Dekok

Love the design! The model is faster yet robust with only two shells, - if you make the inner line width 0.6mm. It is over a million triangles though, could maybe half the resolution as it does take a while to slice on a few different ecosystems.

Monie

Just got done printing at 50% with eryone silk and it came out beautifully and strong. I am in love 😍. Thank you so much for such the beautiful snke 🥰. I can't wait to see what is to come ❤️

CREATIVE 3DEAS

How are the 50% versions turning out (or 40%)? The full size seems a bit large and looking to sell some in an upcoming market.

Ryan Weisal

100% is just shy of 30 inches. 70% is about 21 inches.

Christopher Carrico

Printed a 50% this morning, came out perfect. Love this design, my favorite Zou yet!

Luna

Printed in rainbow, and he's the cutest snek ever!!!

Chad Trahan

Easily my favorite print so far!

Dextar

Do you paint the eyes? I can't seem to figure out how they are so shiny! Love this!!

Nikki Line

i see a lot of the files have made it to mmf - will you be starting a tribes membership by any chance?

3DandSEE

Looks like she did print them in pieces, and then attached after printing. You can see the lines when zooming in to see it isn't done with an AMS. The light behind the camera gives off that shiny look as well. Just my opinion on it all.

Dextar

Thanks, I am trying to be as efficient as possible with printing them. One piece is much easier though just takes waaaay more time.

zou3d

Yes, I paint with a varnish

zou3d

I plan to do this soon, but I'll organize the whole Patreon first

Susan Melton

When I want eyes to be shiny, I put a little clear UV resin on them and then just cure them either in the sun or in my cure machine. Makes them have that wet shine look

Susan Melton

Yeah I like Tribes better so I'll be happy to switch over when it happens

Robert Mullen

have you done the MMF file transfers yet or is it starting this month. patreon in hubby name and MMf is in mine

Katie

Pretty pretty please can you make a Capybara 😍

Nyla Wusky

When will this be downloadable:?

zou3d

The file is in the Post description, if it is not appearing you can try refreshing the page, this happens to some people

Laura Wittman

I've reloaded several times and I'm not seeing it either for some reason.

zou3d

This file has already been sent to your MMF library Send me a message if you didn't receive them there

SomberCorvus

Printed at 100% and I am in love! I personally love it's size, probably the longest (in length) print I've printed so far. Love it so much I immediately started printing another.

Steve Stafford

I have printed eyes in ABS and then smoothed with acetone. The acetone can also be used to melt the back until it's gooey enough to stick on the model.

Melee_StarPrint3D

This is a fantastic print. I have my first one done but my daughter has claimed it for her own so I will just have to print more

Patricia Vos-Kop

May i ask what the color brown is? i love this color!

Ashley Florack

When I download and open this file the % is 2450. Is that how it's opening for everyone? It's the whole plate for my bambulab p1S? I don't know why it's not showing 100%

Jessica Hamblen

I love this little (huge!) snake, but was there a baby/tiny one? I thought I saw one, but now I think I'm just imagining things haha!

JoociePrints

yeah i was curious as to how small i can print this?

Tamy

Hello Joined last night but can not find this design , Can you please provide pointers where can i find it . Thank you

Roxanne Caldwell

hi, how can I download the snake? the file is not showing up. thanks

CREATIVE 3DEAS

Is there a better version of the eyes? I get an error any time I try to open in Bambu or any slicer (it says it is too small to open)

Kevin C

can i get this one pls

Loran Schoen

i would like to have this snake??

Jacob Mansour

You can get the snake on MyMiniFactory with a discount if you weren't a member when it was released.

Andy Welch

Is this different than the bal python?
