The Constitution of the Spartans

Here it is!  I've had this little side-adventure in the works for a long time, but it's finally done.  It's a small miracle that I was able to fit it all in one video.

For anybody interested, I'm planning on releasing this video to the public next Monday.

By the way, I've received a few concerned messages that since the last video asking if the conclusion of the Gallic Wars means that I'm now "done" with Rome.  Hell no.  I couldn't be less "done" with Rome.  Stay tuned.

"Hell no. I couldn't be less done with Rome." -> Hell yeah! Roman Britain!

that huge roman infantry block dwarfing all of greece... "a relic of a more illustrious time" is a kind of beautiful paradox isnt it?

Wonderful! Please do the same thing with Athens.

Hey this was a great one - and I second the idea of covering Athens. In fact it would be really interesting to somehow compare the relative flexibility of each system in Rome, Sparta, and Athens (perhaps indexed by the number of significant reforms passed) with their ability to survive and thrive. Was there an ideal balance of conservative and reform-mindedness among civilizations of the ancient world?

I really enjoyed this video. I'd be curious to see a video with the same format but on the structure of the Macedonian society during the rule of Philip II.

PLEASE MORE CAMPAIGN VIDEOS!!! The Caesar campaign was so kick ass. Those videos were better than 99% of tv shows.
