Q&A # uh... more. (Patreon)

Yes, it's Q&A time, like I've been promising for like six months :P You all know what it is, so lets get into it, shall we?
Thomas Windsor asks if necromancy is illegal, and the answer is no. That said, there's a lot of social stigma around necromancy, which makes the necromancers try to keep quiet, which only makes people more paranoid as they don't get actual information about it. He also asks if a different deity could make their own dinos if they had the right domain. Deities, not really. Very few of them go out and try to make life. However, if a dungeon gets dinos with a certain affinity/combination that Thedeim hasn't defined yet, they would get to make one, within limits.
The Guy Who Asks lives up to his name with a lot of questions, most of which can be answered with "probably" :P For the specifics: Rumpelstiltskin would probably be a scion, Ryndal Windstrider is an elf, The Dungeonless Voice won't be joining Thedeim, and Slash enjoys playing a lot of music for the undead, with bad to the bone being a favorite.
Nomadtheus asks if accidental tames of invaders have happened. No. Invaders don't tend to have the capacity to be tamed, with Jello's calming being the best case so far. He also asks if the kid's delve ever happened, and it hasn't yet. It keeps getting pushed back on account of Thedeim shenanigans.
x4x0000 asks about lifespans of the races, and while elves and dwarves do live longer on average, they don't get to measure their lives in millennia. The various races average from about half the human norm to about 50% more, though healthy living, classes, and affinities can have an impact. He also asks is Freddie and Rhonda ever visit the orphanage and what the people there think of them. They do visit and often will try to encourage the kids there, which the people running it very much appreciate. They're looked at as the golden example of what the other orphans could do. And for Grim, he's glad to see things return to mostly normal, letting him tend to the grass and occasionally go pull a delver out of hot water.
Laetitia asks if anyone has tamed a scythemaw, and yes! There was even a peek about a hunter trying to do just that. Hmm... did you inspire that one, come to think of it?
Magnadra asks what it would be like to fight Queen. It'd be like kicking the biggest anthill around, and instead of simple unpleasant bites, they have access to whatever alchemical nastiness Queen is feeling like at the time. Recommended to avoid. Magnadra also asks how the nudges came to be, and it was just me trying to think of something to give the $10 patrons, and I thought it would be cool to give you guys a chance to guide the peeks.
Gryphaun asks why Telar's reaction to Olander was initially so cold. She's dealt with hotshots before, and the worst ones are the ones who can actually back it up, as they tend to inspire others to recklessness. That's why she made it a point to not let Olander be in charge of anything, worrying about Tarl and Berdol's health.
Roger F Tueting has a lot of questions, let's see how many I can answer :) The people of the world are vaguely aware they're living on a sphere, thanks to their deities letting it slip a few times, but most don't worry too much about it. There are astronomers who do worry about it, and are going to lose their minds once they learn of the gravity affinity, too. There are telescopes available, but nobody else has really delved into the really small just yet. Queen will probably be pioneering that, if Thedeim would ever stop distracting her. Casting a rust spell would require both metal and decay, though a more general decay spell would rust metals in the area, too. If you were made of cheese and getting the careful decay treatment, you would not literally get older faster, but you would see the signs of change of cheese aging.
There are a few scions working toward illusion, with Honey being likely to be the first to get there. She just needs to figure out a way to make the knowledge be external rather than internal, and she'll be there. Denizens always know the way home, like a homing pigeon. They may be delayed if trapped or there's some sort of obstacle, but they always know which direction their dungeon is in. Denizens also don't tend to have enough awareness to just go off and do an expedition on their own. They also don't have the awareness to resent being killed. They don't really have death trauma.
The antkin still worship Thedeim as the other enclaves do, they just do it differently. They have priests and churches, but they also have their academia to follow him with. They believe they will work the will of his Change with their research in the different subjects, elevating everything. Dwellers are dwellers so long as they... well, dwell in Thedeim. If they move out, they're not dwellers anymore. Tiny quite enjoys working in the maze. It keeps him active, it lets him interact with the delvers, and it gives him time to ponder the fates.
Subsumed dungeon cores vanish, as they are crystalized mana kept stable by their territory. The Dungeoneers like to see a dungeon's core because in general, if they can get the dungeon's permission to see the core, they're one that can be worked with.
Whew, I think that's everything? Thank you all again for the questions, comments, and more. If I didn't get your question, I either made a mistake and missed it, felt it was already answered, or am saving it for a more in-depth peek. I hope you all had a merry Christmas, and I wish you all a happy new year.
