Becoming the Strongest Through (Draconic) Racism - Chapter 15 (Patreon)

I had so many questions... which I realized I could just ask since in frozen time, well, I had time.
"Um, very quickly, to get this outta the way. How much time do we talk so I could ask questions and everything?" I asked.
"Given that I am electing to act and expend effort? Not infinite but still a considerable length of time." The Dying Lament replied.
"Oh! Okay. Cool, cool, cool." I said, feeling slightly nervous, before focusing on the important issues. Just get through the important topics one by one. "Then I guess before anything I have to ask... why did you stop me from killing that vampire from the future?"
The Drying Lament as he took a moment to answer the question.
"You know of the origins of the timeline that Temporal Interloper was from." He stated and I nodded. "Simply put, due to the Apocalypse Dragon's body being died in that timeline, his most direct agent, the one that holds the Remnant of his Soul and Will, would have sensed had his Temporal Agent was about to perish, or would have arrived after his death to... 'avenge' him." The Dying Lament said with a tone of annoyance and disgust at the word 'avenge'. "After all, it would make a worthy song, wouldn't it? Avenging a loved one and managing to defeat a Slayer meant for the True Dragon, for the sake of 'love and friendship'."
"...Wait, would he really influence or use Issei of the future OTL to live out tragedies or drama for 'cool moments'?" I said reflexively before shaking my head. "No, wait. It's fucking Great Red. Even with Issei basically his hand puppet at that point, he'd still fuck with his live to keep the 'interesting times' going." I said with similar disgust.
Even the canon characters are just pawns for Great Red's story after all. They're kinda pitiful when you look at it that way.
"Quite. And why you have grown strong, my child, a fight against a Perfected Version of the Red's Agent would have been too disruptive at the moment to your quest." He added, making me smile at the thought.
I literally have a Fragment of God as my copilot. Heh.
"Well with that out of the way," I look back up meeting the Dying Lament's gaze. "How many Dying 'Fragments' of God are there, and why? I know there's the Dying Will, within the Spear, and something like it within the Sword, the one the descendant of Charlemagne has, but I didn't think there would be a third." I trailed off and waited for Him to answer.
"As my death was forthcoming, I had to decide on the manner of my last actions. What legacies I leave behind. My children, both the angels and humans. What arms are provided to defend them, the Sacred Gears, and what protections are in place even if everything else was forsaken, a bulwark and rest for their life and afterlife, Heaven and its System. Yet, it was not enough.
"There was much I still wished to do for you," He said to me, yet it felt like he was saying 'for mankind'. "Thus when the hour arrived, I had to swiftly make a choice, and I choice I have made." He said with a heavy air. "My consciousness was scattered upon the 'death' of my divine material form. Spread across various Sacred Gears of deep connection to Heaven. However of those spread fragments, three I had made sure to hold a significant portion of my being.
"The first you know well, the True Spear of Longinus. In it I placed my Dying Will, for it contained my desire for what I must carry out; the continuation of the Heaven's System. The safeguarding of humanity through any means, even if it meant aiding or approving of old enemies or fallen humans. The Dying Will is for ensuring humanity survives." He emphasized.
Suddenly the Dying Will deciding to go with Issei's stupid wishes of 'Boobies World Peace', or whatever it was the reason Truth Idea didn't just erase Issei the moment Cao Cao activated it.
Because if it prioritized survival above all else, humanity is alive in the canon timeline, so that's something. Not a good life in my opinion, but in any case the Dying Will is doing its job.
"Okay," I nodded to show I was paying attention.
"The second portion, I placed in the Sword of the Roman's Holy Emperor. The hilt containing a piece of the original Longinus made such placement simple to choose. In this Other Longinus I placed my Dying Wish, the things I hoped could be accomplished should if the opportunity arise. Humanity's prosperity. The Dying Wish was for the sake of making humanity thrive.
"Unlike the Dying Will the priority of this Fragment wasn't as high, thus it can only awaken or be activated in special circumstance that would allow for it's directive to succeed. Thus for most wielders of the Karolus Imperator Sword it would seem finicky." He said, explaining how things worked for Charlemagne's Another Longinus.
Wait, did He just make a dad joke?
"And finally we come to Me," He continued. I shook my head of the silly thoughts and focused. His tone held a more pensive quality now "I... am what was left. The desire for a thing that could no longer be realized, thus I became the Dying Lamentations."
I blinked at that. Wait, what?
"..." I wanted to ask, but held back.
"I placed myself in the only temple that could host me. The Holy Cross. While I could no longer fulfill the desire that birthed me, the least I could do was choose the wielder. Choose who I could grant the Cross to, for them to carry and see how they may use it to change the world for the better. And when they prove they cannot, I leave them for and choose another."
Oh... Oh that's why Incinerate Anthem doesn't enter the Heaven System, and just jumps hosts instead. In a way, he's the Fragment of God most active, because unlike the other two, he has nothing else to do.
"What... was it?" I found myself unable to contain my curiosity. "The desire you were made from."
The Dying Lament looked away. Not ashamed but lost in thought for a moment.
The air became hot around us. Which shouldn't be possible since we're in stopped time.
Yet heat was all around us, as the purple flames that made up his hale seemed to make the surroundings tint with its color, while no fires were spreading.
And just that reaction, without any words, confirmed my suspicion on what he was before he became the Dying Lament.
"Vengeance." He spoke and space quaked at the word. "I, am the desire... to see my children avenged." His blue eyes shined with a color I didn't catch, glowing great and terrible, that left any who saw them in a terrified, captivated awe. "My children were unmade. Can you understand what that is? And I do not just speak of the only humans.
"For the causality that linked humans and angels was interconnected. Everything that my angels are, was irrevocably changed. Everything they could have been, would have been was forcibly made different, and I had to reorder and remake so many roles to counteract the atrocity of the Loathsome Red's act.
"Adam and Eve and all of their bonds, to be with their progeny, were never to be. Even the bond between the First Man and First Woman became tainted by the retroactive insertion of the existence of Lilith."
"Where did Lilith come from? I mean... from Ophis' explanation, I'm given to understand only Samael was made by Great Red." I tentatively asked.
"Yes," He nodded. "Samael was slithered into my creation as one of mine, before I embraced him as one of my own in truth. However, his existence caused a butterfly effect as you know.
"Adam... was meant to have Eve, the First Woman, his Wife, after he spent some time alive and alone. He was meant to be for him to experience living, experience the marvel of life, and then the longing to share with a peer. He was meant to taste loneliness to be able to empathize with future humans, to understand why loneliness was not something to inflict on others. Eve would then be made to rescue him from that, and grant him the ability to share all that he experienced with her, and to experience being shared with in turn. A mutual bond formed of the wish for another happiness. Yet...
"The angels seeing Adam's state and due to the causal disruption of my Design, caused the angels to act first, believing that me not creating a human to be Adam's companion, was to leave the task to them. Thus my angels created Lilith. I suspect her envy, that lead to the dissolution of their relationship, was due to that. That I was the one to create Eve afterwards, rather than giving my angels another try, compounded that fact, and likely added to the bitterness both Lilith and Lucifer shared, when they both lamented their fare in life."
"Misery loves company, huh." I let out a low chuckle.
The heat died down. The mood become peacefully somber once more.
"Quite." I think there might have been a ghost of a smile on his face. "It was satisfaction, if a bit hollow, to know that Loathsome Red would have met his end in the meant to be history of this world, had you not existed."
"Hollow?" I blinked at that choice of words.
"Aye, for how can I feel joy, when those Children of Iron would turn their blades at my humans, after attaining their revenge."
I blinked at that. What he said making me mentally sit up and pay attention even more, so to speak.
"You talk like you know what those Machine Gods are, and not just because you read about them from my memories."
"Of course I know them." He said with a sad smile. "My first children, my first humans, were undone as Time came to be and erased them... yet their Work, the Effort of their Doing, their Will, stayed behind. A mark that they had existed remained."
A hollow feeling of dread and a feeling of that said 'Oh, of course. This was always going to be the result'. A feeling that I as a human need to stand Judgement and Affirm my right to Be.
I looked down and placed a hand on my chest.
I have no idea why this feeling suddenly came to me, or why this was something that must be faced. Only that, this Surety wasn't because I was a Slayer, but became I was a Human.
"You're saying... The Machine Gods were created by... Humanity of the Golden Path?" I asked incredulous. "But then, why did they turn out so evil in canon?"
"Because they do not know better." He said plainly, voice full of pity. "They wished to emulate their Makers, yet know not how to do so. They wished to avenge them, thus walked down the path of destroying the Dream. And above all, they wished to carry out the Last Will of my Old Children as they understand it, believing that Resentment to be right."
"'Resentment'?" I asked, yet somehow knew the answer. The Something that we as Humans must face.
"The being I told of all of. The one written down as the Beast of Revelations." He said confirming my thoughts. "The Emperor Beast of Apocalypse, the being that could only carry a number as a name, 666, Trihexa. A being made not of the World of my Old Children, but of their Being. A being made out of the question 'Why?', at the outrage and confusion of being erased, when they made no wrong. That's why it hates you. That's why Humanity needs to stand firm and prove it wrong.
"It reveals the truth of what it is, and what you are, even without you knowing or having the words for it. That they were once Human, and that you had Replaced them, even if that was never to be the intention."
"...You didn't seal it because you couldn't defeat it, did you?" My eyes felt hot.
"The emotions left of my Old Children, their pain... How could I callously destroy that? They deserve... the dignity of a proper funeral. They deserve... peace." He met my eyes. "That is the other wish, shared among us, the Three Fragments of God. For you, my Children to put my Old Children to rest and help them move on."
I looked away, unable to meet his gaze anymore.
"I feel like I don't have the right. By my nature I'm a sinful human, and I don't speak of my birth, of carrying Original Sin." I said back, tears falling down my face. "I'm someone that... even if I'm not perfect, I know I can be better. My conscience has always spoken when I did wrong, that gut feeling when I made a choice I know to be wrong, or came to regret. From the biggest of follies, to the smallest ones of everyday regrets.
"I revel in my rage because the pain I went through is all I have left. All I can define myself by. Because I know... if I don't have that... I would break. And I don't know how I'd put myself back together." I looked down, like a son ashamed to meet his father's eyes. As though knowing I've disappointed him.
For a long while He said nothing and then...
"You were never meant to Be." He said. I snapped my head up, looking at him, blinking my eyes in confusion, as his words didn't quite register for a while even if I know I heard them. "No design of mine made you or accounted for you." He smiled brilliantly. "But I'm glad you Are." An indescribable joy gripped my heart. "Thank you, Caleb, for being born. For existing. Because of you, my faith in you, my Humans, was rewarded. That the many wrongs can finally be made right. Should you continue on your path, then all Three of Me will aid you. All the energy that we have safeguarded to maintain our existence will be expended, but we finally a reason to succeed in Our purpose. The wish to slay the Apocalypse Dragon and to lay down the Beast of Revelation.
"Because of you that possibility is now realized. I believe that you can grasp it, thus I ask that you do."
I wiped away my tears, facing his gaze head on this time.
"Yeah. What needs to be done?" I said, my resolve reaffirmed and strengthened. "Actually, if the three of you rejoin, can you..." I gestured to him. "The full true you be resurrected?"
He grew quiet for a while in thought.
"The possibility isn't likely... but it is nascent."
"You mean...!" A grin was making its way up my face, joyous laughter bubbling up in my throat.
"Too much of my energy is being used to maintain many seals at the current time. The seals on all the Sacred Gears containing a legendary monster in them, along with the seals of the Trihexa."
"So..." I looked up for a moment, going through my mind in the list of Sacred Gears that fit that criteria. "Boosted Gear, Divine Dividing, Canis Lykaon, the Vritra Gears I think too, Regulus Nemea... I think that's all."
"The Four Fiends are also in this category." The Dying Lament added. "It should be possible using Spirit World to either enter the spiritual prison within the Sacred Gears, or unlock them."
"Given that the Blessing operates on souls, maybe I can make something like a Domain Expansion to just bring the Sacred Gear out of the users without killing them, and straight up free and slay the sealed beings. That should work to free up the energy sealing them, right? Would the gears be able to work afterwards?" I wondered.
"They would but diminished." He confirmed.
"Right," I nodded, deep in thought. "I don't know what the status of Vali is right now, either he's with Khaos Brigade of left it, but for the others, I have a feeling I'll end up crossing paths with the devils, Issei and the others, and Azazel's group, Slash/Dog, eventually." With some nervousness, I had to address something He mentioned. "The six hundred, sixty six seals on the Trihexa also have to be released to recuperate that energy. Does that... is it Time?" Even with everything, I felt apprehensive at voicing it.
"Yes." He confirmed without hesitation, but still with a gentle tone. "Should you have the determination then the Endtimes comes to be challenged."
...This is a fantasy world. It's a world with magic, shounen battles and death. I've already lived and experienced it for a while.
Yet, being told that the Biblical Endtimes might arrive, held a heavy weight in my chest. Not pain, anxiety or necessary fear.
Just... a significance to this choice that feel too big. Like carrying the world on my shoulders.
I looked up to see the Dying Lament's kind gaze, soft smile and endless love for me.
"Alright. I can do this." I said, mostly to myself. "Right. Whenever you think I'm ready, give the signal or... whatever is supposed to happen." I said lamely at the end. "Kinda... crazy that I'm walking the same path of canon Rizevim, when I think about it."
"Similar but opposite ends." He said. "When the seals are opened, the Beast won't be asleep. It will be released and awakened within the land where your battle began, for its holiness will reach a level to be able to contain and slow him down long enough for you, your allies and the factions to rally and prepare to face him in battle."
"Okay," I slapped my face with both hands once, to knock my anxiety away. "We're doing this. Alright. So..." I took a breath. "Back to the fight, I reckon?"
"Not yet." He said. "There's something I must address with you first, and," He gestured to all around us. "We have an opportunity here."
"Huh?" I looked around us and... we were just in the Primordial Waters at the bottom of Ladon's barrier. Apophis' dark field could be seen at the edge of the white field we were in, and we were still in stopped time. "You mean the Waters?" They were frozen in time so I forgot about them without having to guard against their effects.
"Yes," He smiled, and then cupped one hand, somehow gathering some of the water in it, moving it while in frozen time. Weird but fucking badass. "These Waters are Creation Materials, and while you might have broken the Deluge Barrier earlier on your own, I figured we can use this to streamline the process and accelerate it."
"Huh? Broke what? When?" I cried out. I was getting hit with too many revelations.
Is it bad that I kinda want to act like some dense battle junkie, and only think in fights? Brain hurts from too much cosmic info.
"At the time of the Flood, you know of the reason I sent it, correct?" The Dying Lament asked.
"Because the majority of humans had become evil, if I recall the story." I replied.
"That is part of it." He nodded. "However that is not the full picture. Corruption can be corrected and cleansed in time. While the Devils had corrupted Man's heart, it was what they, the Devils, along with the Fallen and the many gods around did that needed to be wiped out."
"What?" I asked, apprehensive.
"Nephilim, didn't use to mean Half-Fallen Angel, as people tended to use it nowadays. Rather it was a term for any human of half-blood. Half-Angel, Half-Devil... Half-God."
"Wait, Nephilim also meant Demigod?"
"There was a reason humans were so alluring and sought after by gods and all manner of supernatural beings. Antediluvian Humans were, hmm, what's the best comparison...?" He thought for a while. "Despite being fallen, tainted by the Original Sin, my children were still extraordinary. Their potential became realized much more easily, and whatever blood is joined with theirs, becomes ever more greater. Thus the reason you hear stories about demigods before the Flood were much more outstanding, than after."
"So wait, the problem was that too many supernatural beings were having kids with humans?"
"It was a threefold problem. One, the temptation and corruption of humanity's spirit and morals, leading many astray from my Light and guidance. Two, which plays into the first, humans were vastly superior back then, than now. Had the situation continued as it was, well, imagine a world rules by a race of Evil Gods." I went to comment. "I do mean a race of them. As in millions. Not just a Zeus or a Balor or a Tezcatlipoca of mostly neutral or capricious countless gods." I closed my mouth, because okay, that's genuinely fucking terrifying. "And three... Supernatural beings were tainting humanity's bloodline, causing the possibility of the Savior to arise to shrink ever much to null."
I blinked as what he said didn't register for a moment, then my eyes widened at the realization of that thought bomb.
"...Oh fuck, if we didn't get Jesus, we'd have been so fucking screwed."
"Yes. Prophecies and promises made before would have gone unfulfilled. Humanity would be tainted by supernatural blood that they'd be forever unable to gain any true ability to be independent. In a way, if mankind became that intertwined with the gods at that point, then should the gods be erased, or die from not being worshiped or being forgotten, then so would humanity die with them. Although I do not think those gods had that idea or thought at the time."
"..." I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and tried to imagine happy thoughts. It wasn't really working.
"You do not have to take up slaying the gods as a goal, child. Humans now as a whole aren't as interesting to the gods or supernatural beings, except for those that stand out. Thus that problem isn't likely to arise, as human blood had been made strong enough to wash away supernatural blood after a few generations, and only allow some ability or talent to arise from integration, rather than manifestation of some magical race's attributes."
"Yeah," I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "And the Messiah already happened, so that's not really a problem." I said, putting my hand down, as I was starting to relax. "Huh. Human blood being strong enough to wash away supernatural influence after a few generations. Never really thought about it like that. Whenever a story has a character have less blood of a deity, being a one-fourth god or youkai, etc. the weaker they were because they are further away from the supernatural being that gave their bloodline their super awesome power."
"Propaganda." He said, I couldn't help but snort. "And it's not like I didn't leave a path for humanity to be able to make their way back to Primevality."
"Huh?"
"Antediluvistic Humans."
"Ah." I nodded before my eyes widened. "Wait, Sacred Gears are for that!? Is that why supernatural factions keep hunting them, even if they don't need to, or could have recruited them?"
"No, that's just basic greed and sadism."
"Right," I nodded, lips pursed in annoyance. "That makes sense, and is frustrating." I took a breath. "So what does it mean that I broke the Deluge Barrier?"
"Becoming an Antediluvistic Human, isn't just a matter reaching a certain level of strength. It's to be able to continuously refine both body and spirit till you reach a higher state of being. In a sense, it's like cultivation, but only with two 'realms'. Your normal humans and Antediluvians. So technically one 'realm' to rise to." He said. I found myself chuckling with his explanation. "The Deluge Barrier isn't a metaphor, but a metaphysical barrier that make humans be born in their current state, but also ensures their blood always wins out. When you become an Antediluvian, you'll have to choose intentionally for yourself and your progeny to continue staying human, rather than be lured by the blood and strength of other races."
"Wait, I thought if that happened and I got with a god, devil, fallen or whatever, it's my kids that I'd worry about? Like, if an Antediluvian Human got with a Fallen Angel or whatever, their kids would be the problem. Why would the Antediluvian Humans themselves be a problem... unless they can change their own genetics somehow."
"Correct." He confirmed my theory. "Antediluvian Humans were, in a very simple manner to explain to you, possessed of regenerative ability such as that of Wolverine from Marvel Comics, the ability to gain resistances and immunities like those of Heracles from the Fate Franchise, and self-biokinesis." He didn't offer an example for the last one, likely because I didn't know or couldn't think of a shapeshifter who's power was on the same level of the two mentioned in its potency.
"If that were the Antediluvians, then what the fuck were Adam and Eve, before the apple, capable of?" I could help but say, and to that the Dying Lament had a smile that seemed to keep switching between smug, regret and nostalgia.
"Not all Antediluvians mastered this power or were proficient in it. In a manner, like how many humans don't know how to use a musical instrument, and those that do, do not all have the same level of skill in it. You have been able to basically brute force your way through the Deluge Barrier by constantly regenerating through destruction from combat over and over, that the only way to further calcify and adapt to strengthen your body, was to break through the barrier."
"..." I didn't change my expression, but I was feeling very smug right now.
"However, your soul didn't endure the same level of intensity as your body, thus didn't grow durable to the same level. Thus while your body will begin the process of becoming an Antediluvian, your soul will take longer to advance and reach the same level. I'd say, if you did nothing else, and stopped fighting, then in a few short years, your body will finish being an Antediluvian, then your soul would complete the process, then both will align together to act as one. I estimate, it would take ten years for the full transformation to be complete."
"And if I keep fighting as I am?"
"Weeks? A month at most." He said. "Or..." He gestured to all around him, and my eyes widened as it clicked. "There's some good Primordial Water here to use and shortcut the whole thing." I began to grin widely. "Your instincts were right that your Elan and your Magical Energy, both being made from your soul yet both serve different functions is an inefficiency. Completing the process would turn them into one and the same, allowing you an easier time with magic. And I say 'Magic' as it originally was, not this current state, for in the beginning it was simple the name of the ability to imbue your will upon the world, rather than using magical energy to enact a phenomena."
"Holy shit, that's so awesome." I was giggling like I was a kid again, and was allowed in some grand toy store. Then my brain had a random question. "Wait, why does Apophis have the power to make these Waters? That seems... it doesn't fit his powerset. Seems off."
"The Eclipse Dragon was born of Nu's chaotic Primordial Waters. Thus with a lot of training and with the power of the Sephiroth Graal, he attained the ability to use it freely, as he originated from it."
"Oh. Oh okay." I nodded. That was neat to know.
"Now, one last thing I need to ask you," He said and the surrounding seemed to heat up again. "Are you sure you want to continue down this path? You've already done enough. The will, faith and prayer to call out, caused the Bloodred Sword to be made, and that is enough. Satanael and the other Fallen had been inspired and galvanized to act righteously, and that's more than enough. Your battle has already inspired and pushed forward many, awakening them to the height they could be.
"Are you sure you want to keep holding onto that wrath? Are you sure... that you want to add Mine into it?"
As He spoke, the surrounding became more and more heated, I could feel purple flames out of the corner of my eyes, with red flakes.
And yet, I felt at peace. The flame couldn't hurt me, because I knew He won't let them, for He is on my side.
His form began to change. Not in shape, but color, intensity, as if what he was before was a pleasant cover, but now the topic was serious, and thus he had to address me in his true self.
His halo darkened till it was red, and highlighted him in purple. His own blue color grew hate filled till it was black. No, that's what it was from the beginning. Him choosing to Lament was softening that black to blue.
"Are you sure you wish to take in my Wrath, even if it will make yours burn ever more fierce and not dim as you still could make it?" Asked the Dying Wrath of God.
Because that's who he truly was. That's what he covered with Lamentation.
"Yeah." I said firmly meeting the pure white flames of his eyes. "I'm not going to stop. And if I'm going to be enveloped by rage, then let it be for a righteous cause."
"Very well," He smiled, a little sad, a little content, a little proud. He held his hand in front of him as if to hold something and I felt my Longinus be pulled and appear across his hands. "Then let us proceed." He said holding up Chaoskampf Ordained, inspecting it with the joy of a parent looking at their son's work, and I couldn't help the small smile that worked its way to my face. "We have everything we need here. Myself, the Waters and all the Dragon Slaying Aura you have stockpiled within the blade."
"Yeah, luckily I didn't use it all up during the fights... Then again, you stopped it all from being used up on Gasper, that I'd say 90% of it is still in there." I narrowed my eyes. "Did you... know? That all of this was gonna happen and plan for it?"
"Yes and no. Omniscience isn't what people think it is. It might be better for a start, to think of it as having more options to arrange things as you want, and set up for the outcome you wish for."
"How long can you be active like this?" I wondered.
"Given how much myself and the other Fragment are acting? We have a year before we're completely depleted. At the rate you're growing, it should hopefully serve as enough time to complete our mission."
"It won't take that much time. I promise." I said with full conviction.
God's Dying Wrath looked at me and smiled, pleased.
Yet... Something nagged at the back of my mind.
"Did you... Did all of the Fragments always have this much power? Always been able to do all the things you're doing?"
"Yes." He said plainly. "I always had these abilities, myself and the other Fragments. There was simply no reason to expend this much effort for there was no true path to victory. Your arrival, your will and actions lit up, thus I and the other Selves began to act." He let go of Chaoskampf Ordained, letting it float to the side.
I felt my face heat up, and not from the flames this time. I looked away while holding a hand over my mouth, hiding away my smile.
"I guess no one caused as much chaos as me in the right direction to shake things up, this much this fast, and in humanity's favor before." I tried to joke away my bashfulness.
"With the exception of Satoru Gojo, of course."
I stopped.
Everything froze, there was no sound, no movement, as I slowly looked toward the Dying Wrath, trying and failing to contain my utterly jubilant amusement from showing on my face, at that ridiculous mundane and yet very based meme joke.
I broke down.
"PFFFFTT-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" I laughed. I just couldn't help it that a Piece of God also memes. "Holy shit, we really are made in your image."
"As the children say in this era," He said with the voice of an old man, joining in on the merriment comedy of the youth. "Ayyyyy."
"AAYYYYY!"
We both draw our arms back.
And then swung them forward.
Our hands met in a clap.
And the world became Light.

Outside of the Chronos Control Cage, the ellipse-shaped orange barrier of Ladon began violently shaking.
Then to the horror of all the dragons watching, they saw the Apophis' Dark Field and Ladon's Time Dilation Barrier both, began to crack with Holy Light shining through.
