[Slot-In Session] Chimera Protocol (Patreon)

Hi all! Welcome back to another release! This oneshot supports 4-6 players of level 7 and is inspired by the lore from our upcoming Tome of Monsters: Galactic Edition Kickstarter. Over the course of the next few months, we will be making more oneshots themed around the lore of this book, so be sure to let us know if you'd like more of these!

Three months ago, Chimera Biotech was the most powerful corporation in Syntheia, with its main business being human gene manipulation and gene splicing. Eventually, their board of directors had cracked the code to immortality by turning themselves into immortal dragons. One night later, rival megacorps backed by the city burned the entirety of Chimera to the ground. The official story says the facility where the experiments took place was cleared and sealed.

The unofficial story is different. Emergency broadcasts have started bleeding through encrypted channels, a repeating distress signal from one of the underground laboratories. The local enforcement won’t touch it, as too many of their people who went there ended up on the missing in action list. The city’s military is too busy with the chaos in the city to do anything. The noise from the facility is getting louder with each day, and something is definitely alive in there. Just what sort of devastation would it wreak when it escapes?
