About Etsy's New Policy For 3D Printing Merchants. (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone! In the past few days, I have received a good number of questions regarding Etsy's new policy. Many of you are concerned that you may no longer be able to sell 3D printed Grumpii models, even if you are granted a commercial license.
One of our members has found this video from Secret Forge. They contacted Etsy support regarding this matter, and Etsy responded. The answers you are looking for may be found in the video. Please take a look at the video.
Summary
1. Yes, you can still print and sell physical models as long as you have a commercial license from the original designer.
2. Use your own photos for listing.
3. Beware of listing any IP models that the creators don't have the commercial right to (Marvel, Anime, etc.)
Thanks to Secret Forge for taking their time to reach out to Etsy for this matter.
