2026 July Release - Yokai Neko (Patreon)

Hello, everybody!!!! Thank you so much for choosing to support my work for another month.

I was organizing my drive, and I saw one of my favorite old designs, the "grumpii cat with knife" design. Back when I created that piece, I thought about making a whole series with different animals holding different types of weapons, but somehow I forgot about it. I realized that a lot of you really like cats, I saw that from the previous release, the Dinocat. So I think it is a perfect time to bring back my old ideas that I wanted to do.

Introducing the Yokai Neko.

Nekomata - a yokai cat holding a cursed fish as its weapon. Whoever gets one slap from this cursed fish will be cursed with bad luck and will smell like dead fish for 7 days.

Akaonii Neko - a red oni cat with big rage, always growling and swinging its tiny spiked club dramatically to scare others away. Underneath all that tiny aggressiveness, it's just hoping nobody calls its bluff.

Aoonii Neko - a blue oni cat, always looks angry, like it's planning something really evil with its kanabō, but no, it just pretends to be intimidating. Deep inside, it's just a little cute oni kitty.

Chochinya - a cat possessed by a lantern ghost. It wanders around and loves to lure travelers off the path with its warm light, not out of malice, but because it's just lonely and wants some attention.
