We are finally checking out Jung Kook's Times Square moment for the ages! This is live in front of a global crowd, on New Year's Eve. We love the moment after 'Standing Next To You' when JK takes it all in! This was something special! A tweet from BTS's Twitter account was sent out 30 minutes before - Surprise!🥳"Jung Kook Live at TSX, Times Square" starts in 30min!

The TSX stage is a newly constructed structure in the middle of Times Square, New York, with an 18,000-square-foot billboard display serving as its backdrop.

Love this performance! So proud of him. Back up dancers are one of the best in the world and Brian and Ian are one of them and they are also famous choreographers. The difference in energy between you two was big hihi. I think Allana was very tired, because closing your eyes when that man is dancing?! You were vibing though.

Funny you should mention Justin Timberlake for 3D because he has a remix with him on it, just like he has Usher on a remix of Standing Next To You. He can literally make any genre his own. Yes or No may have sounded familiar because Ed Sheeran wrote it and it definitely has his vibes all over it. Like I said, any artist or genre, he can take it to the next level and make it his own. He can switch up from Justin Bieber songs to Bruno Mars songs and Harry Styles songs to Charlie Puth songs. He is the epitome of this decades king of pop. On the first suchwita, you have to make sure you watch the separate Norabang video. Its him doing a 15 min video of karaoke after suga has left. Its so funny and so JK coded

I heard there was a two hour notice to Army and fans, that he would be at TSX. Amazing how many were able to go. Since I’m a good 18 h drive with no stops….. 😭

Just to clarify, this wasn't at New Year's. He performed this in November of 2023 as a surprise event. People only got a short notice before the event occurred, which is why this crowd is even more impressive!

Confirmation of TSX was 30 mins before although fans knew from his schedule sheet that something was going down in New York on that day. When billboards in Time Square started lighting up his pics, then fans got a hint it may be there and some crowds started to gather not knowing where or when he was going to perform.

Jungkook truly is in his element on a stage, and Golden was FILLED with amazing songs, so this performance was indeed a must watch. So glad you got to see it, and can't wait for more BTS content from you 💜

I'm so glad that you reacted to this, it is one of my favorite performances of his! When you get to your reaction of 3D, Jack Harlow has more lyrics at the end of the song just as an FYI. You made a comment that he liked to use the word afterglow. Seven, 3D & SNTY (Seven you heard the explicit already, 3D is about phone sex & you have heard SNTY) was JK's way of showing Army and the world that he is all grown up and knows all about sex hence the terms Champagne Confetti & Afterglow in all of the songs. After you listen to all of the song 3D and you think about the lyrics in all 3 songs, yes, both those terms mean exactly what you think they mean!
