Back together again — Kyle & Alanna react to BTS’s Butterfly.A song that captures so much emotion and nostalgia, it’s one of those tracks that always finds a way to hit a little deeper.

Butterfly is one of my top ten BTS songs. It is such a beautiful song about being afraid of losing someone which is something I would think everyone has felt in some point of their life. If I would have heard this song when my dad past (which ironically the song came out the same yr my dad had passed, I just didn't know BTS at the time) it would have had me bawling. I'm glad you reacted to both versions.

This is one of my top BTS songs. The choreography is also beautiful. I always look up the lyrics and meanings on doolset. A couple of the lines reference below and meanings. My Kafka on the shore, Book reference: Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami My love is eternity Wordplay: 영원 (永遠) is eternity, but 영원 can also be 0 Won, making the above line mean “my love is free,” which is to be repeated in English in the next line. Definitely one of my all time favorite BTS songs. Like you mentioned, it has a very nostalgic feel to it that I have always loved. I believe the vocal line only version is the prologue mix, and I first heard it while I was first exploring the Bangtan Universe. It always reminds me of the BU MVs and storylines as well, which just adds on to the nostalgia. I really love the rap line version too, though, so it's nice getting so hear both again!
