What’s Going On

December has wrapped itself around the studio like a festive octopus, and we’re just letting the tentacles take us where they may. The lights are twinkling, the cameras are thawing from the Canadian frost, and the house smells like cookies… because a child definitely burned some earlier.

Personal Updates

December at the Percival home is basically a variety show:

• Family visiting for Christmas, transforming our house into a cozy sitcom set• Avery started his first-ever job, and we’re 50 percent proud, 50 percent “please don’t spend your entire paycheck on snacks”• Still watching Survivor, loudly judging people who can actually make fire• Going on nature walks to avoid turning into pale indoor goblins• Trying a delicious spiral of Korean-style foods — our spice tolerance has leveled up • I also witnessed the most difficult movie I have ever seen... it's called "Come and See" and it is not for the feint of heart...so watch out for this reaction and watch with caution! It's about what happened to Belarus in WW2... if you do watch... bring tissues
