I love change! It was my anthem as a teen growing up in an abusive home. At first it was inspiration, one day I was going to “break down the walls they put up”. Then the last time my mom hurt me, tried to str@ngle me, it was “well it’s a sad picture, the final blow hits you” and that night was the night I decide it was time to go, “but we’ll stand up champions tonight, it was the night things changed” It’s one of my favorite songs. Along with Mean and Cold as You (both of which hit for me because they remind me of my parents lol).

Aww yes “The Best Day” is from her Fearless album! I DEFINITELY recommend watching the MUSIC VIDEO! You’ll see little Taylor! She also plays it in episode 6! I always use this song on Mother’s Day because she wrote it about her mom. 💛✨🫶🏼

I wish you could react to both the OG and Taylor’s Version lyric videos as each includes a different selection of photos and home videos from her life.
