can’t wait to see the reactions to this! 🐍🖤

Tinkerdoodle

Miss Americana! How can I make this happen? Please 🥰

Kelsey

So happy you guys watched the intro with your ready to it!! She invited everyone whose voice was used in that intro to the show, how powerful! Such an anthem. You guys are the best!

Kelsey

It's on their newsletter that they plan to react to it this month!! 😊❤️

Tashwana Campbell

I love the chants the crowd sings when she performs delicate i forgot where it came but the crowd always chants 123 let's go B*tch I just love it. I. Just love the Rep era, Red era, Speak Now era, just all the eras really.

Molly C

Get so excited when I see a Taylor notification from you guys. Another great reaction video!

Tinkerdoodle

I absolutely cannot wait! It gives so much insight and backstory about that time period, her songwriting process, personality. And, Benjamin is such a scene stealer.

Helen W

If I recall correctly, a fan was at a concert and yelled 1-2-3 Let's go bitch while recording. Posted it to the internets and it instantly became lore. Oh, to have been at the first concert the chant took hold - Taylor must have been...WTF? lol

Caitlin Beaubouef

Y'all should look up Kobe and Taylor's relationship and his interview where he mentions her

Mex

this eras tour footage is from the first eras tour movie, and the snake is added in post production. each era of this movie had a cgi introduction with an album name that didn't exist at the tour shows. now that she owns the reputation stadium tour, hopefully the full uncut show will come back to streaming soon. please watch miss americana soon. there's so much that gets explained in it that you will love to see

Rene' Guerieri

to Alanna's observation about Taylor in the midst of her success & all the bad things people would say, there's a lyric in 'Father Figure' from The Life of a Showgirl (TLOAS) and that lyric says it perfectly "They all want you to rise, they don't want you to reign" . that hits to the point Alanna was noting about not letting the hate stop your moving forward.

Kim

Don't know what you're planning after finishing the end of an era and the final show but I truly believe you guys should watch Miss Americana next, so you can get more of her background! The reputation era will make a whole lot more sense if you know what lead to it. I love rep, it's one of my favorite albums. Thank you for the lovely reaction <3

This is one of my favorites songs from Rep and it shows why it was a single back then. It has such a powerful beat that it instantly makes you wanna dance. I think for me, The Eras Tour performance exceeds the Rep Tour; it has more choreo, she looks so badass while perform it and the arrangement is just superior. I just want you to know that The Final Show does not include Whyley, since it is literally the final, closing night of the tour. But I went ahead and found a fancam from Whyley's first night, whether you make a reaction or watch it on your free time, it's up to you. It's an amazing performance nonetheless: Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMYkHXDJa6s

Great review guys. My Take: The MV depicts continuous sequential versions of Taylor that are training the newer version and putting her through paces to test her. (making her stronger) The Android Taylor is demonstrating all her weapons & skill; Brute Force, Sweetness and Tenderness, etc but Jailer Taylor is unimpressed. Android Taylor ultimately realizes that her most powerful weapon is her VOICE and that is what frees her.

Krista Grigsby

I have watched this on the reputation tour easily 100 times and I still get chills like the first time!!

Helen W

OK. He is now forever known as "THE Whyley." :-) I loved your take on the MV - it's such a mind-trip, but you caught the central theme of it easy peasy. Appreciate you considering going into songs "empty of preconceptions." A thought, especially as you've been generous enough to do several versions of a song. Version 1- Just your ears. Verson 2 - look for some lore etc. (If you want.) Finally - just to say how much fun it is to go down the rabbit hole with you both. You catch so much (the EYES)...and I know as you marinate with her music, you'll pick up more and more references/callbacks. 1-2-3 Let's GO... :-)

TopTierTaylor

ema this was a great fan vid. I had not seen this version yet! It actually caught the viral slip recovery too!

madison

the aura is always off the charts for ready for it, it’s crazy that our sweet millennial dork is also the coolest person in the world

Alile

I think the newsletter said that after the final show, they are going to do a full album reaction for TLOAS, then Miss Americana 🙂

Niya

where does it say that, I cant find it

misswtfrenchtoast

Alanna!!! That purple is gorgeous on you!!! 😍😍😍

Jenny

whyley only performed ready for it in new orleans. there are 2 eras tour films. this the first one in L.A.

Jenny

13 not 3 lol

Nicole Andrews

Must watch her doc Miss Americana. Love your reactions. Thank you. They’re my favorite to watch. ♥️

Nicole Andrews

You said Phoenix coming up from the ashes. She actually has a song called “You’re Losing Me” and in a line in that song she says “Phoenix rising from the ashes” ☺️

Rene' Guerieri

i wondered where that started. Tay said she loves those things the fans do on their own 🤣 like the globes in the audience for Willow and the Phone lights for Marjorie. she said, 'was there a Mass Email? What? '

Monica Torres

Something cool about the reputation tour one is that you can hear her more struggling to keep her breath and the choreography and in the end of an era doc at one point she mentioned that for eras she purposely started training her body and voice six months before the rehearsals even started because she was tired of feeling like she was only capable of doing the whole show without being tired once the tour was ending. She did this first by running on the treadmill for three hours while singing the entire setlist for eras out loud every day. So during eras there’s so very few moments where she sounds out of breath which I think is probably from being sick or altitude changes more than actual struggle.

Monica Torres

Ahhh you’re so right when talking about her becoming who she really was during the rep era, that’s especially what this music video was meant to be about. Taylor is very specific about liking fan theories about what a song or video means so when she liked this theory we knew we understood her. So this fan had the theory that the Taylor in black is the Taylor the media perceived, dark, evil cunning. This Taylor is holding the real Taylor hostage (in the glass cage). Real Taylor is trying everything she possibly can to be free but fails until she uses her actual voice to free herself. ALSO cool way to show this is true Easter egg is the real caged Taylor only sings one word until she’s freed, the word is “JAILOR” calling her old self the one who was holding her back.

Monica Torres

The snake with the title of the era reputation was added for the concert film. In the film each time we go into a new era there’s a title card. This didn’t happen at the actual shows. Some visuals were added for the films.

Michelle Petersson

urgh... i do not stand this nikki. there was another fan at taylors eras concert that she openly mocked standing right beside her, and then doing the same thing in a podcast about her. blehhh

Jennrw13

I've always loved that she had to use her voice to free herself, and the connections in the video to I Did Something Bad, with the lightning and "Burning all the witches".

Jennrw13

This was amazing! And as a Rep girlie, I'm SO proud of you for understanding the overarching themes in the MV. For whatever reason, I've seen many reviewers completely misunderstand this video. I saw your reaction in the intro when you heard the comment about Taylor taking the stand in court. You will hear all about that in the Miss Americana documentary.

Ruth Minney

🔥🔥🔥 awesome video guys!!

Karin Rommel

Loved. Loved. Loved!!! When I sawnthe reputation version of Ready for It, I was "shook" I Just couldn't believe that was Taylor Swift!! I thought she was a country singer ...this was the one that made name sit down and watch her documentary Miss Americana. And that documentary changed everything for me.

Danny

Ready for it was the very first TS song I bought on google play music. Became a swiftie since then.

Cody Flynn

The rep tour is sooo good. Would love to see yall watch it!

Kennedy Peery Corbridge

Rep energy is one of a kind. Every era is. But reputation is such a bad ass lighting bitch energy! What the album represents within the thread of Taylor’s personal and public life during that time. Her cancellation after the Kim Kanye situation. Yet, the vibes, looks, tone, merch, songs, album release style…. Everything was soo so different and a whole new side of Taylor. Reputation will always be iconic and such a bad bitch staple 🤡⭐️🫶🏆

Kennedy Peery Corbridge

The somatic and emotional experience of watching the Rep set during the Eras Tour live and in person, it’s a high I’ll be chasing for the rest of my life. It’s electric and just jolts of joy, and power and badass strong hot vibes!!! Rep forever ❤️‍🔥🫶🐍⭐️

Kennedy Peery Corbridge

This video makes me miss the iconic bedazzled snake eras tour mic. Those were the days of livestreams and the mastermind game! 🐍🥹😭💗🤡🫶

Renee

Talking about her rap flow… gonna need you to react to Thug Life 🤣

Renee

Also I think Whiley danced during Toronto shows - where the final era’s performance was Vancouver- so I don’t think his performance is in one of the official concert films

Mary

Will you be reacting to the reputation stadium tour and 1989 tours at some point in your journey?
