Thank you for choosing this on your YouTube community poll for our first ever KATSEYE reaction!!! WOW! They have a lot to offer in such a short amount of time! The music video and dance practice really show their two different sides in regards to performance and theatrics! Please let us know anything you know about these ladies! Or are you new to them? Finally getting a chance to watch! Loved the reaction :) Katseye is considered a global girl group, more so than K-pop. The members are Manon (24, from Switzerland), Sophia (24, Philippines), Daniela (21, U.S. w/ Latin roots), Lara (20, U.S. w/ Indian roots), Megan (20, U.S. w/ Chinese roots), and Yoonchae (18, Korea). They were formed through a competition called Dream Academy that was documented on Netflix in Popstar Academy: Katseye. They are incredible performers and can't wait to watch y'all discover more. Most songs are in English, but they have a few in their native languages (without spoiling too much). I think their song "Gabriela" would be a great next song for y'all. Their fandom is called Eyekons (like icons). Watching a guide to the members would be helpful, too. They were nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist and Pop/Duo Song for Gabriela. Their Gap Ad blew up last year, which skyrocketed their fame (would be fun for y'all to chk out). They are playing Coachella this year, and I'm sure it will be incredible!
