Fun fact: This song was the 1st song in Black Ops COLD WAR, on the 1st Zombies map: DIE MASCHINE. And this song fore tells the story of THE FORSAKEN. A human transformed entity of The Dark Aether after being trapped in there for 50 Eons (Time works different in the Dark Aether) after he was sent into the bunker under the map to shut down Projekt Endstation & shut down The Cyclatron which opened a gateway to the Dark Aether, and Team REQUIEM (who we play as) is trying to stop OMEGA from opening the Dark Aether to release Zycov the man who became The Forsaken, which OMEGA succeeds in the final map "Forsaken" "We buried it well, no revealing tell. Where the horns above impale the sky. FORSAKEN BORN THORN IN OUR SIDE. Warn no one. No warning. Our memory just fades away." Essentially talking about REQUIEM working to make sure The Forsaken is not released and the Dark Aether sealed off from our reality.
