Dear Patrons,

Happy Saturday…

This week has been a mix of productivity, connection, and some heavier moments that have really put things into perspective.

On the channel side, we hit a big milestone—we officially finished all of our reaction requests. That felt incredibly satisfying to complete, especially with how much work and time goes into making sure each one gets the attention it deserves. Kyle also ended up doing an impromptu live, which turned into such a fun and unexpected moment of connection.

We also took some time to get out and enjoy ourselves—we went out with friends to see a Freeze the Fall concert, which was such a great experience. It felt really nice to step away for a bit, enjoy the music, and just be present with good people.

On a more personal note, this week also brought some difficult news. We found out that my uncle has been diagnosed with cancer and has been given two months to live. It’s one of those moments that just stops you in your tracks and reminds you how fragile time really is. Because of that, we’re planning a family trip tomorrow to go and see him, spend time together, and just be present in whatever way we can.

It’s been one of those weeks that holds both the good and the heavy at the same time—progress and joy alongside grief and reflection. And more than anything, it’s been a reminder to hold close the people we love and not take those moments for granted.

Thank you all for being here, for your continued support, and for being such an important part of our lives and this community.

Before I go, I’d love to hear from you:

What’s something or someone in your life that’s been reminding you to slow down and appreciate the moment lately?

Until next Saturday,

☕

mmm, that is heavy about your uncle. we never know how much time we have so it's important to be in the moment each day and dont sweat the small stuff. and like someone famous said 'it's all small stuff'. that said, i'm not sure how i feel about getting a Saturday coffee Letter on Saturday 😜

Alanna, I am so sorry to hear about your uncle and his diagnosis! My heart goes out to you and your family and your uncle. But it does bring a smile to my face knowing you and the family will be visiting with him. Being present, sharing memories, creating new memories, being vulnerable and soft hearted is so important and a total challenge especially when someone is ill or not doing well or just looks different (whether due to age or illness). My MIL lives with my husband and I, and she’s had three battles with Leukemia (the first being when my husband was only 6, then in 2020 and then this past holiday season) and it’s taught me that every moment matters. We even still have our Christmas tree up because it brings her so much joy to see the ornaments and the ambient glow of the lights at night. It’s about enjoying the little things and being as present in yourself as possible. May I ask? What is your uncle’s name? And what’s something special about him or a favorite memory? Sending you so much love Alanna 🫶💜

Congrats on all of the channel milestones, I truly applaud all of your and Kyle’s hard, beautiful work! I was having such a dump ass day and when I saw Kyle live, it was such a positive boost! And then watching till the end, I loved getting to see you and the kiddos! I hope all went well, and healed smoothly, with your dental work! AND I thoroughly enjoyed your guys’ reaction to my monthly Patreon pick with Dear John x WCS. It brought me such Speak Now girlhood joy! I’ve rewatched it a couple times honestly! 🫶⭐️💜

Uncle Don is an extremely hard worker and a strong solid man. He actually used to work with Kyle before Kyle and I knew each other. So when Kyle and I met and started dating my family already knew who he was and had the back ground check already covered! One of my favorite memories with him would have to be the summer camping with him and my grandparents. I used to always go visit him at his 5th wheel and we would eat food and joke and laugh together he was always happy no matter what. He truly is a ray of sunshine!

Honestly who or what is reminding me to slow down and be present? My husband, my dogs, and Taylor! Every night my husband brings me a cocktail out in the deck while we enjoy a joint and a little tabletop fire. It’s the best. The weather has been so beautiful, breezy & warm here in Oregon 🩵⭐️🫶

My two dogs help me slow down when maybe my daily stressors or ADHD overwhelm can kick in and paralyze me! They force me to pause, pet them, look at their little dog lashes and big soft ears, and be more present. And with Taylor, the Swiftie community is the shit! It was so fun this week getting to get super excited and to clown with the 10 minute cloud countdown. My interactions with the ETC swiftie chat was such a joy! Shout out Marie, my twinsie on here! And just the crazy kismet healing powers of Taylor’s discography! She brings things up in us that we need to see. Traumas! Joys! Introspection! Energy! 🫶🌀🩵
