TAYLOR SWIFT GETS DEEP ABOUT ‘EVERMORE’ | Zane Lowe Asks The Perfect Questions (Patreon)

Swifties, this was such a perfect piece of the evermore journey for Alanna and I. After spending so much time with these songs, getting to hear Taylor actually talk about the writing, the ideas behind them, and where her head was creatively gave us a whole new appreciation for the album.

We also have to give Zane Lowe his flowers here because we thought he was fantastic. He actually listened to Taylor, asked thoughtful follow-up questions, and gave her room to really explain herself instead of constantly trying to jump to the next question. It felt like a genuine conversation between two people who really care about music.

The more we explore folklore and evermore, the more we understand why these albums mean so much to so many of you. Getting the music is one thing. Getting to understand some of the heart, thought and creativity behind it makes the experience even better. 💚
