SATURDAY COFFEE LETTERS: August 22nd (#20) (Patreon)

Welcome to another Saturday Coffee Letters.
It’s so lovely to see all of my amazing friends here on Patron!
I’m honoured to be able to do another Saturday coffee letter to give you an update for our week. It is Friday, (though I finished writing this on Saturday), and I’m currently at the park with some mom friends of mine I know for me I will be honest I have felt that telling you guys every week that we go to the park has become a little bit mundane, but to be honest—going to the park is such a big part of my life!
I take Oliver and Isaac to the park probably five times a week on average; it has really become a fixture in my friendships and in my children's development. This week, I even created a park moms group chat, and I dubbed it the Playground Posse. So far, all the moms I’ve invited to it have loved it and are very excited to have a group we can all hang out with and socialize with our children and ourselves.
Kyle and I have also been going with the family before bedtime for the last few days and trying to create a new routine of watching the sunset at a different beach each night. It has been so wonderful and healing for our family to have that special moment together.
Now that Saturday has come and gone, it is almost 5pm and I am finishing writing this while making dinner, we are having a vegetarian pasta tonight and I am very excited to be able to cook for my family, who knows while I'm at it maybe Ill even bake an apple crisp or a loaf of bread with my new bread maker that my father gifted me the last time he came to visit.
I should save this for next week’s coffee letters, but you all know I have very little patients so I am very excited to say that we have a 2-year-old as of August 25th. His birthday celebration is happening tomorrow, though, on Sunday, when all the friends and family get together! We are hosting the party at the water park so that the kids can have a great time, and my friend’s teenager even wanted to make sure my teenager was coming so they could hang out too!
Birthdays are always amazing!! Let me know what type of stuff you are curious to know about in my coffee letters? Is there anything you look forward too particularity? Perhaps you just like getting a sneak peek at our more intimate side of life?
Any who, I love hearing from you all! Until the next Coffee Letters
Peace and Love Alanna P.
