I'm undecided on introducing cross-over elements from other games/movies.

There are some plot-points I can salvage from other SW sources, but this would be outside of that. Examples being Borderlands, Mass Effect, Predator (not Aliens, hate those things), and possibly Halo. They might not all happen. Just examples that I would draw from.

Star Forge with added x-over?

I would rather you don't but seeing how the poll is going I will just pray you will not do it too much to avoid bloat.

I think you would be better off sticking to SW only. There are a lot of things in there already, especially if you consider the SW Legends part, while also keeping it 'contained', for lack of a better word. I fear that if you start adding x-overs the story will either 'break'/lose interest or end up unfinished due to too much clutter.

I think if you do x-over the best way (keeping with the story premise) would be by adding random items and/or ability sets to the Roll function and if you wanted to add characters you could do what Star Trek Online did with the legendary characters and make them holograms or droid personalitys as that would be possible with SW tech.
