The Scooby Gang, Harry, and Faith wound up in a bakery and café listening to stories. He leaned back in his chair to enjoy the scene. Xander had an obvious thing for Slayers, or at least rough and tumble girls, much to Cordelia's annoyance.
"Doesn't slaying just make you hungry and horny?" Faith said before taking a big bite of a muffin.
"I do sometimes crave a non-fat yogurt," Buffy offered.
"I get it!" Cordelia said after a moment. "Not the horny thing, ew. The slayer thing. Buffy died for like two minutes, so Kendra was called, then she died, and Faith was called."
The conversation made a quick turn to werewolves.
"What's your story, tall, dark and handsome?" Faith asked motioned to Harry.
"I'm tall, dark-" Xander grunted as Cordelia elbowed him in the ribs. "And in a relationship."
"I'm new to town," Harry said with a small smile.
"British, huh," Faith raised her eyebrows. "You're like a Watcher in training?"
"No," he chuckled. "On vacation."
"He's also a wizard," Willow offered helpfully.
"Wizard?" Faith asked. "Rabbits out of hats and stuff?"
Harry held out his hand, one of the muffins from the plate floated over to him, "you could say something like that."
"Can your magic fingers do more to muffins?" Faith winked at him.
"That's enough for me," Buffy announced.
Willow cleared her throat and motioned to Faith.
"Where are you staying?" Willow asked trying her best to be subtle.
"I've got a motel room on the edge of time," Faith answered with a shrug.
"Which one?" Cordelia asked.
"Sunny Hills Motel," Faith replied.
"You can't stay in that dump," Cordelia snapped.
"What?" Faith asked. "Is it a vampire den?"
"Vampires don't get close to the place unless they want to drain a drug addict," Cordelia replied.
"I have an extra room," Harry offered. "I promise not to use you for a virgin sacrifice."
"No problem there," Faith winked at him. "Thanks, Merlin, I'm all for free stuff."
"Merlin," Harry scoffed.
The group split with Willow, Oz, Xander, and Cordelia heading off on their way with Buffy as their guardian while Faith led Harry to the motel. He had taken a few walks around the town by now. While the town was bigger than expected the difference between the good side of town and the bad was essentially two blocks. Sunny Hills Motel was on the edge of the transition.
"You picked Sunnydale for a place to relax?" Faith asked as they walked.
"I heard the weather was lovely this time of year," Harry said.
"Bullshit," Faith scoffed.
"I'll make you a deal," Harry said. "We trade stories. You tell me your story; I'll tell you mine."
Faith went quiet at that.
It didn't take them long to reach the parking lot of Sunny Hills Motel. Scanning the area he immediately agreed with Cordelia's assessment. He felt like he needed a shower just by being near the building. There were a couple of unconscious people were passed out around the lot. They were still alive and appeared to be perfectly healthy. Well, as healthy as a drugged-out junkie could be.
"Right up here," Faith said. "Fuck, I forgot my key."
Before Harry could say anything she bumped into the door with her shoulder and it popped open. The room wasn't much better than the exterior. Faith moved with practiced ease, packing her clothes into the single duffle bag that was crumpled on the floor at the end of the bed.
"Done," she said.
"Do you need to check out?" Harry asked.
"Nah," Faith shook her head.
"Want to see something cool?" Harry asked.
"Sure," Faith shrugged.
Harry offered her his hand. She raised her eyebrows but still took it.
"Brace yourself," he warned.
They disappeared with a barely audible pop and reappeared in the living room of his house. Faith lurched then caught herself before she could fall.
"What the fuck was that?" Faith glared at him.
"Apparation," Harry smiled at her. "You get used to it after a few times."
"Apparation?" Faith repeated. "That's a stupid name."
"I didn't name it," he shrugged. "Let me give you a tour."
"Nice gym," Faith commented. "I didn’t know magicians worked out."
"Wizard," Harry corrected. "Most don't. They also don't have to worry about getting punched in the face by vampires. I thought that it would be a good idea if I was going to stick around for a while."
He led her through a quick tour, including the basement even though it was empty at the moment. Then he took her upstairs.
"This is my room," Harry motioned to the master bedroom. "There are two guest rooms. I'm going to convert the one you don't want into a potions lab."
"Potions? Magic potions?" Faith raised her eyebrows in question.
"I wanted to give Oz a test run of wolfsbane," he explained. "It helps werewolves stay in control when they change." Harry paused. "That's how it works where I'm from."
"What does that mean?" Faith asked. "Werewolves are werewolves."
"I have learned that the supernatural world is bigger than I thought," Harry stated. "The vampires here are completely different to the ones I've studied. If I understand the description Oz gave me, then werewolves are too."
Faith shrugged.
"I'll take this one," she pointed to the room across from the master bedroom.
"Settle in," Harry said. "Are you hungry? Muffins aren't my idea of a meal."
"I'm hungry for something," she replied as she took a step closer to him. "We never discussed how I'm going to pay you."
Harry raised an eyebrow in silent question.
"Gas, grass, or ass," Faith took a step closer, trailing a finger along his chest.
"I don't need gas," Harry quipped.
"I don't have any grass," Faith pulled him into a kiss.
The two sprang into action. Their hands roamed one another’s bodies and soon clothes were being yanked off. They fell to the floor scattered about. There they lay naked and exploring each other’s skin.
Harry grinned as he moved his mouth to her neck then began sucking on it. Giving a Slayer a hickey on her neck was just too tempting. Faith tilted it letting Harry have more access. She was moaning and purring loving the feelings she was getting.
He wrapped his arms around her and lifted her up effortlessly. Faith raised an eyebrow in at the development. He held her in his arms for a moment taking it to kiss her collarbone and neck once more. Harry carried her into the bedroom and placed her in the center of the bed he started off kissing and sucking her breasts as his fingers teased her slit.
"I thought we were fucking, not getting all romantic," Faith said.
"Trust me," Harry replied.
Faith let out a gasp as she felt his hot breath on her pussy. She looked down to see a mop of black hair and Harry looking up at her. He had a devilish smirk, and he lowered his mouth on her. His tongue licked her slit top to bottom before swirling around her clit. Harry pushed his tongue as deep as it would go and grinding his nose into her clit.
Faith's thighs closed on either side of his head, holding him in place. He had no intention of moving until he turned her into goo. Most of guys she hooked up with were happy to just pound away and be done with it. She couldn't remember the last time a guy licked her pussy. Not even taking into account for skill.
Harry could feel her fluids now coating his face. Faith was breathing deep, trying to figure out how to take control once more. A wicked smile crossed his face for a brief moment before he unleashed his parseltongue ability.
Her legs clamped around his head even tighter and she screamed, "Fuck!"
Harry continued on, pushing her to orgasm repeatedly fast and hard. Faith's eyes were almost crossed as her back arched and she had Harry in a death grip with her legs. He managed to pry her legs apart, so he was able to breathe. His skull would have had some fractures if wizards weren't naturally hardier than the standard human.
He moved up from the bed, so he was above Faith. Once they were face to face, Faith grabbed Harry and pulled him into a fierce kiss. She used the moment to flip them over, reached between them, and guided the tip of his cock to her soaked lips. Faith locked eyes with him as she dropped down, taking his entire length in one go. Her whole cunt was stuffed with Harry. He stretched her just right. She could feel every pulse and throb.
Her pace increased as she rocked back and forth, then started to bounce. Each one was higher and faster than the last until her hips were practically a blur. Harry wasn't passive, he sat up so he could reach her tempting breasts. His mouth latched to an erect nipple. Faith moaned as she pressed Harry’s head to her chest with one of her hands. Harry switched to her other nipple. Faith arched her back to give more access.
"Fuck, Merlin! I'm going to cum," Faith screamed.
Her cunt gripped his cock tight. Harry used this moment of weakness of Faith’s and rolled them over, so he was now on top. Harry kept pounding in and out of Faith going faster and faster. The bed creaked and rocked from his movements. A fleeting thought somewhere in the back of his mind, he wondered if the bed would hold up.
His hard thrusts were stirring up her insides and touching spots she didn't know she had. Faith felt her peak approaching. She came with a moan that turned into a deep growl. Her legs wrapped around him, holding him tightly against her. It shocked Harry a bit, but he just went with it. He didn't stop with Faith’s orgasm to draw it out longer. His thrusts were shorter though just as strong.
Harry couldn't help but smirk. There were few things in this world that could compare to making a woman cum. He then felt the pressure rising and knew he was close. Harry plunged as deep as he could before erupting inside of her. He then pulled out panting and laid beside her on the bed.
"Damn," Faith let out a breath. "I needed that." She trailed a hand between her legs and felt the amount of his cum leaking out of her. "You did too, huh?"
"It's been a while," Harry chuckled.
Faith got out of bed and strolled completely nude over to the nearby door, "is this a closet or bathroom?"
"Bathroom," he answered.
"I'm taking a shower," she said before stepping inside.
She didn't bother to close the door. Harry leaned back in the bed. He shook his head and let out a little chuckle. What was a vacation without a hookup or two?
"Merlin!" Faith called as the water started. "Are you going to join me, or what?"
Harry got to his feet. How could he say no to an offer like that?
"Holy fuck, Merlin," Faith said as he joined her. "I thought you said wizards didn't fight."
Harry followed her gaze to the network of scars along his body. She had quite a few herself, but that was expected of a Slayer.
"I said they didn't punch each other," he chuckled. "Using magic to toss sharp things and conjuring dangerous things is pretty common and creatures don't care about dueling etiquette." He paused. "You've got some impressive ones yourself."
"Well, yeah," Faith shrugged. "It comes with the job."
Harry was distracted by the nice bounce of her chest.
"Creatures?" Faith asked. "Sounds like you've got some stories."
"So do you," he traced a ragged scar along her hip.
"You've heard some of my stories," Faith started to spread soap around her body. "Tell me a couple of yours."
"Which ones?" He asked.
"This one is strange," she traced a cluster of scattered scars on his shoulder.
"I ran into a witch that liked to create exploding rock bullets," Harry said. "She distracted me by setting the ceiling on fire, then hit me while I put it out."
"This one?" She motioned to a jagged curl along his thigh.
"Alchemically altered flobberworms," he blushed.
"What is a flobberworm?" Faith laughed.
"It looks like a fat worm the size of a small dog," he replied. "Normal ones are harmless. A wizard that had an abundance of intelligence and a deficit of common sense decided that altering them with alchemy would make for higher quality slime harvest. They ate him. The alchemy treatment allowed them to squirt their slime and turned it acidic."
"Squirting worms?" Faith chuckled.
"It wasn't my finest hour," he shrugged.
"What about this one?" Faith ran a fingertip along the edge of a circular scar on his bicep.
"Basilisk fang," Harry sighed. "I was inside its mouth."
"Why?" Faith squinted at him.
"How else was I supposed to get a sword through its skull?" He asked in reply.
"You killed a basilisk with a sword while you were in its mouth," she stated. "That's hardcore."
"I was twelve at the time," he said with a wink. "I wouldn't fit these days."
"You're shitting me," she glared at him.
"Nope," he shook his head. "Dark wizard possessed my friend's little sister and used her to release a basilisk on the school. I couldn't let her die."
"Alright," Faith said. "Soap up and wash off, you promised me food."

The sound of someone knocking on the door woke them the next morning. Faith had decided to sleep in her room rather than joining him again. He was under no delusions that the tryst with her was the start of a relationship. For one, he didn't know how long he was going to be around. Secondly, he had no idea how long she was going to be around. It had been a long time since he had sex. The last partner had been Padma Patil after a Ministry function for something or other. She had made a name for herself in updating the information systems and had become an absolute legend to the office many office workers. Instead of flying pieces of paper or important files being hand delivered, she had introduce a pneumatic tube system. The function was some sort of charity ball, or celebration for something. He had stopped paying attention after a while. They had danced and ended the night at her place. He made breakfast before he left. That was a pleasant memory hidden among the pile of trash that was fighting pretend dark lords and such.
Before that, he and Ginny had tried to make a go at things. They put forth a valiant effort, but their lives were heading in different directions. She was training for her Quidditch career while he was being sent all over the magical world to solve problems.
He hadn't been much for dating after that. Finding someone that didn't worship the ground he walked on turned out to be rather difficult. Especially after multiple successful assignments from the Ministry. He went from being mostly recognized in Britain to his name becoming spread around the world. For some reason, he was really popular in Argentina.
"Who the fuck is knocking?" Faith grumbled as she stepped out of her room.
Harry took a moment to appreciate her naked form.
"Merlin," she snapped her fingers to get his attention. "Are you expecting visitors?"
"It's probably Buffy," he answered.
"Why would Buffy be here?" She scrunched her face in confusion.
"She lives next door," he answered. "And you were going to meet her Watcher today."
"You're neighbors?" Faith asked.
"The house was for sale," he replied easily. "I didn't meet her until after I moved in."
"Right," she nodded. "I should put on some pants."
"If you must," Harry sighed. "I'll get the door."
Luckily, he had gone to sleep wearing his lounge pants. He went downstairs and opened the door. Buffy visibly flinched at the sight of him.
"Woah," she muttered.
"Do you have time for coffee?" Harry asked.
"Is Faith ready to go?" She asked stepping inside the house.
"She's getting dressed," He replied. "I'm about to put a pot on."
"Hey, B," Faith called as she practically bounced down the stairs. "We got time for breakfast?"
"Not really," Buffy shook her head. "We'll grab food at school."
"Bummer," Faith sighed. "See you, Merlin."
"Merlin?" Buffy asked.
Harry shrugged. He watched them go before getting a pot of coffee brewing while he got dressed for his morning workout. Breakfast could wait until after he got back. He altered his route, expanding it a few blocks before he circled back to his house. The coffee was finished. Harry poured himself a cup and had some toast.
He finished up his morning workout by breaking in his new equipment. It felt a little silly using the punching bag without any real training. Still, he wrapped his fists and let loose until he was breathing hard. From there he moved on to free weights.
Harry took a quick shower and got dressed for the day. He had a trip to the Magic Store to pick up the ingredients for Wolfsbane. Hopefully, they would have a decent quality cauldron and tools. The unused guest room had decent ventilation and exposure to indirect sunlight cutting down on potential corruption from the environment.

Harry was in the middle of making a late lunch when the door opened. He leaned back to get a look at the entry way. Faith kicked off her shoes and caught his eye.
"How did it go?" Harry asked.
"Bizarro world," Faith replied taking a seat at the kitchen island. "Smells good, what's for lunch, Merlin?"
"If you keep calling me that it'll go to my head," Harry winked at her.
"Do that thing with your tongue again and I'll call you whatever you want," she practically purred at him.
"I wouldn't be opposed to another tumble," he shrugged. "To answer your question. Simple meal of grilled cheese and soup."
"That's not chicken noodles from a can," Faith leaned over to see what was in the pot.
"Beef with barely and veg," he answered. "Never was a fan of chicken noodles. Does that sound good?"
"Yeah," Faith nodded. "I'm meeting B's mom tonight. She's making dinner."
"Joyce," he added. "Her name is Joyce. She's been nice so far."
"Got it," Faith said.
While he could connect with Buffy over the shared Chosen One vibes it was a different sort of vibe with Faith. She knew the rougher side of life and wasn't as naïve. It felt odd thinking of Buffy as naïve considering she fought monsters on a daily basis. She didn't really understand what it was like to reach out to the ones that should love and support you only to have them turn away. The recent walkabout was a brief glance. Her issues with her friends and family were misunderstanding, not years of bad memories. Faith knew what it was like to wait for the other shoe to drop. To brace yourself for the inevitable betrayal.
"Do you like your grilled cheese extra crispy?" Faith asked.
Damn, his thoughts went dark. Just like the partially burned sandwich in the pan.
"I'll take that one," he sighed. "Lunch is ready."
A couple of bowls and plates floated out from the cupboards then landed near the over. He plated the food before setting it in front of Faith. She chuckled at the display of casual magic but didn't say anything. The two ate in companionable silence.
"What are you going to do before dinner?" Harry asked.
"Damn," Faith smirked. "I know I'm good, but I didn't think you'd want to go again so soon."
"I need help training," Harry rolled his eyes.
"It just kind of come natural for Slayers," she shrugged. "You should talk to B's Watcher if you want training exercises and stuff."
"We could spar?" Harry offered.
"I don't want to hurt you, Merlin," Faith laughed.
"I'm tougher than I look," Harry challenged.
"Fine," Faith sighed. "Don't bitch about it when you've got cracked ribs."
Harry put away the extra soup and cleaned his mess. Most of the time he preferred to use mundane methods for smaller tasks. It helped his mind stay clear and keep connected to the world around him. He found that relying on magic to do everything felt a little too close to being a passenger in his own life.
"Do you want break stuff in here or use the backyard?" Faith asked.
"Backyard," Harry replied.
"Come on then," she strutted out into the yard.
Harry shook his head as he followed her. She bounced on her toes a couple of times and shook out her arms before holding her hands up in a loose stance that looked like something a boxer would use. Harry went through a few stretches before rolling his shoulders and mimicking her stance.
"Last chance," Faith offered.
Harry extended his hand and motioned for her to approach.
"Oh, it's on," Faith laughed.
She sprang forward, leading with a spinning kick. Harry hopped back and tried to hit her punch. Faith latched onto his wrist, twisted, and he felt his shoulder pop out of its socket. His eyes widened as she pressed closer, her speed made it impossible to block or dodge the tight upper-cut that hit square on his chin.
His head snapped back. The world spun and tilted as he sprawled out on the ground.
"Sorry, Merlin," she shrugged. "I warned you."
Harry struggled to get to his feet. His vision swam from the punch, but he could feel his head clearing with each heartbeat. He looked at his arm to see it hanging lower than it should have. Harry took a deep breath, then wrenched his shoulder to the side. The spike of pain was paired with a sound that set his teeth on edge.
"Sweet Morganna's nipples," Harry snapped. He took a couple of breaths to steady himself. "Ready?"
"You don't need to prove how tough you are," Faith snickered. "I probably broke your jaw."
Harry felt where her fist had hit. It was a little tender but not broken.
"I'm good," he raised his hands again.
"You're call," Faith said.
The next hour was a painful one. He wasn't sure if she was pulling her punches and he didn't really want to find out.
"How are you still standing?" Faith asked.
"Wizards are hardier than mundane humans," Harry explained as he swayed on his feet. "I've seen someone get kicked through a wall by a giant and survive with broken bones. We have a sport called Quidditch. It involves flying on a brooms at high speeds a couple hundred feet in the air with magically enchanted balls that try to knock you off your broom and people with bats to knock them around. It's not as popular anymore, but a strategy was to fake a dead-drop and pull up at the last moment to lose a tail. If you don't do it right you crash into the group at high speeds. Then you walk away dizzy and with a headache."
"Nice," Faith gave him an appraising look. "Guess that explains why I didn't crush your head last night."
Harry blushed.
"I'm going to shower and head over to B's," Faith said.
"Do you want some company?" Harry asked.
"Please," she snickered. "You're barely standing."
Harry was going to argue when he realized he was slowly swaying from side to side.
"That's fair," he nodded.
~
Harry brewed a couple of potions once his thoughts were clear enough. It was never a good idea to work over a cauldron while concussed. He started with a simple Pepper-Up then a Dreamless Sleep and finally Wolfsbane. His skill with potions had improved drastically once he had a decent teacher. Traveling meant a lot of downtime, which meant he was able to catch up on subjects he felt lacking. It was funny how easy it was to circumvent traps from dark lords and ladies by simply taking muggle transportation. Arriving at an airport rather than an international port-key really messed up their plans.
He was in the middle of bottling the last potion when he heard the door slam and the wall crack a little.
"Faith?" Harry yelled.
"Yeah, it's me," she yelled back.
"Are you ok?" Harry asked as he stepped out of the potion room.
"I don't want to talk about it," she growled.
Harry nodded. She stalked up the stairs to her room and closed the door harder than needed. A spider-web of cracks spread around the frame. He waved his hand, repairing the damage before going downstairs to do the same to the front door.
He would give her space. It felt like she needed it.
