Unlike Somewhere Safe, I'm planning on a big-bad popping up in the story.

For the fun of it, let's put it up to a vote. A tie will be moved on to a higher tier to break.

Use an Existing Character - A former Classmate, side character, or someone 'known'

New Character - An original character created for the story

New Character - A cross-over character from another setting.

Random - Like it says on the tin. I choose >:-D

Captain Hair

Remus returns, his self pity morphing into madness as he illogically believes everyone he ever loved has abandoned him rather than vice versa. His DADA knowledge leading him to form an army of magical creatures that he feels are the only things that ever really accepted him. Basically, he's a moron lashing out at random.

Only thing that concerns me with existing character is it pigeonholes you into using some expected lesser known Slytherin like Nott or something. An existing character that was originally a good person in canon would be interesting - like the Remus idea as well

Aaron Walker

I do like the Remus idea and would find it better to have a more unexpected existing character be the bad guy instead of someone predictable like Draco or someone else. There is room to work with due to the time gap to flesh out someone else.
