Incoming for August 2018 (Patreon)

Hello! Thank you for sticking with me for July 2018, and the release of my first fan comic! A bit of a tumultuous time and with a lot of hurdles I had to overcome such as not knowing how to letter comics and trying to find out which order of work is the best.

Once all the pledges have been processed I'll deliver the patreon rewards I promised. It should be ready by Saturday August 4, and if you haven't gotten your reward hassle me and I'll get it to you!

For the next month I'm going to try a more structured approach with traditional media. I'll start with thumbnail pages in a smaller notebook that I will share once a week. Then I'll draw the pages individually onto special comic book paper I got from the art store that is SUPER handy dandy and has everything I need in it. Since I want to be more action-oriented and include better environments, I'll be placing the detailed sketches into Clip Studio Paint to correct and finalize the backgrounds and perspectives with the Perspective Ruler (I blame my buddy RinPin for this, her constant insistence that it helps has gotten me HELLA curious so here's hopin'!)

After the background lineart is done, I'll take it into Photoshop for character art and coloring, and finally into Illustrator for the lettering and sound effects. These will be one-page-at-a-time so that I can post them onto the Patreon and set them into the queue on the tumblr blog. I also hope to include more concept art in the future but as of right now my brain is working faster than my hands and I don't have much concept work to share yet.
