Workspace Sneak Peek (Patreon)

I needed to make a new environment for the characters to interact in for my Homestuck fanventure, so I had this lying around! I'm super proud so far of what I've made. The row of characters there are for scale, to make sure anything I draw doesn't become too big to suit the characters. This applies to things like those pool toys in the water and the enormous pile of leaves that fell into the pool.

Once this is complete it'll be placed into the final frames and the characters can shrink down alongside the pool to fit within the borders of the panel itself. This way I can keep the assets I need in a separate file with them all having unique layers, and export them individually if necessary. It's a very versatile way to build a picture to go with the narration and dialogue!
