Cast Art - Finch (Patreon)

One of the things that's getting revamped with the new story is changing the character art and bios on the Cast page of the website. The idea is to have a picture of their civilian identity next to a larger image of their super one.Figured the best one to start with is for is Emma / Finch. With the time jump, there were some design changes I wanted to make. Other than her civilian attire having a bit of a change, the primary change is in how her hair is styled. Much like with Carmen's hair being different from her superhero identity, I wanted there to a bit more of a distinction between Emma in and out of costume. The simple solution, sometimes, ends up being the best solution. Just invert the direction her hair was going. So, that's what I did. Her outward spikes now distinctly reflect her in her heroic state whereas her civilian state pulls them in, making her look more closed off and reserved. I think it works. As for her Finch costume, nothing has really changed. It's easily the costume I have the least problems with and see it as "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" situation. As these get completed, I'll make them available here and add a bit of a blurb on their design changes (if any) before they make their way to the official site.
